These are just fantastic! My second purchase because I liked the first one so much. They hold a ton - more than you'd think, are easy to carry by the handles or the strap. They instantly fold surprisingly flat for storage. But my favorite feature is that they stand up and fully open to load and unload groceries due to the internal metal frame. They are rugged and good looking at the same time. The ONLY issue is that they weigh a bit more than most of the cheap store bags so I usually have to have the weight scale cleared by an attendant. But, for me that is just a couple seconds made instantly a non-issue because of how easy they are to handle. I've had many people ask where I got them.

These bags are amazing. I have a cleaning company and I carry around some pretty heavy spray bottles. The plastic bottom is super sturdy and the bag doesn’t tip over in my trunk. I love that the straps can be used as a longer over the shoulder or a normal 2 handle bag. These are my new obsession!

Shopping with a bag that won't stay open when twisting around in a wheelchair attempting to place items in said bag is a real pain. This solves the problem. Helpful that it folds flat and can hang out on the back of my chair, being unobtrusive and waiting for the next time I need it, which is often. Take care in unfolding the bottom, I've pinched my fingers. Buying another soon and look forward to filling it with random stuff. Bonus: flip it over while open and have a not so sturdy impromptu table!

I had been looking for a truly useful grocery bag for ages. This is the perfect bag. It doesn't flop around when you're trying to put items into it. It's sturdy and holds a significant number of items. This is truly the best grocery bag out there. The only drawback is that it's heavy and with the extra weight of packaged items it becomes burdensome. The way around that is simple: I keep the bags in the grocery cart right up to my car and then unload immediately into my car, thereby eliminating the any heavy carting. This drawback is minor compared to the minutes of frustration spent trying to keep the other types of bags open long enough to get groceries into them while the conveyor belt fills up with more and more items to be put away.

I have had this for a while now and it gets used a lot due to the multiple purpose design. Its rugged and can hold a lot due to the solid but foldable bottom to it. I have not used as a back pack but I can see it would work just fine for those picnic type uses where you may need to walk a bit to your destination. would recommend.

I had bought this bag several years ago and when I saw it again and it was on sale, I was excited and immediatedly purchased. To my disappointment, the material is not the same. The shade of green is not the same. It feel like a cheap type of plastic and is noisy when using. Quite different from the original. Three stars because it folds nicely and holds heavier items. Could not return because I threw away the packaging and had removed the tags. Would not purchase again.

Some years ago I received an ADK bag as a gift, and it is one of the best gifts I ever received. I used it not only for groceries, but picnics, pot lucks, boat bag, visiting friends etc. It folds nicely, packs easily, and is able to be easily disassembled for washing (!). Every grocery store clerk has commented on it and people in line behind me ask me about it. That being said, it was the old model, which was a different shape....less like a tall grocery bag and more rectangular footprint and not as deep. Apparently, that shape is no longer available (company has been sold to new owner?). I'm trying this new shape because I love how strong and convenient the last one was.....I plan to update my review after using this new bag for a bit. I hope it will be just as good and not an un-improvement. Stay tuned.

I love this bag. It is well made, light weight, but perfect for carrying almost everything. It has a lightweight, structural frame so when opened it will sit by itself, but when not in use it will fold flat. The padded handles make it very easy to carry while remaining comfortable.I've taken my Packbasket to the store three times already and each time the clerk asked where I got it and where she could buy one. It is stylish and pretty. The bright color makes the day brighter.The bag portion can be easily removed from the frame and washed.
