Stopped the bleeding
I had purchased this item but never used it. One day I cut my leg shaving and it would not stop bleeding. I applied pressure with a cotton ball, and tissue but the bleeding continued. I remembered I purchased the rapid seal and placed some on the cut. To my surprise the cut stopped bleeding. I will definitely keep some in my medicine cabinet.

Works ok on small razor nick or paper cut
This wound seal works well on small nicks and razor cuts that don't bleed heavily, but do bleed. If the nick is somewhat significant this wound gel can't stop it. Only works with small nicks that will stop by themselves within a minute or so, this just stops it in 20 seconds. But it does work.

Great to have on hand for when you need it
For my bugout bag. Haven't used it yet but the instructions are clear and simple to follow. Looks like it will be useful.

Works as advertised
Okay, full honesty—I’m not the most graceful person. I’m always bumping into stuff or accidentally nicking myself in the kitchen, and band-aids are basically a permanent fixture in my life. So when I saw Rapid-Seal Wound Gel, I figured it was worth a try. And wow, I’m so glad I did.Just a few days after it arrived, I cut my finger pretty badly slicing a tomato. Not deep enough for the ER, but definitely deep enough to bleed… a lot. I cleaned it up, put a dab of this gel on it, and I kid you not—it stopped bleeding almost instantly. It formed this light, clear seal over the cut, and I didn’t even need a bandage after a few minutes. It also didn’t sting going on (which I was kind of expecting), and it seemed to keep the area clean and protected. I’ve used it a couple more times since—once on a scraped knuckle and once on my kid’s knee after a playground fall. Same story: it worked fast and helped it heal nicely.Pros:• Actually stops bleeding fast• Doesn’t sting• A little goes a long way• Feels cleaner and more secure than a bandageCons:• You do have to reapply it if you wash the area a lot• The tube is small, but honestly it lastsFinal Thoughts:This is now a must-have in our medicine cabinet, car, and camping bag. It’s one of those products you hope you don’t need often—but when you do, you’re SO glad it’s there. Highly recommend for parents, campers, cooks, and general klutzes like me!

It works!
I take blood thinners and accidentally cut my forehead on the corner of my car door opening it. To make matters worse, had to perform on stage in an hour...I grabbed the cream and a clean tissue and in fifteen minutes all the blood had coagulated. It wasn't pretty, but it wasn't bleeding!.... Much more practical than the powders.

Not good as a liquid bandage.
It does help stop bleeding, but stays wet for a minimum of 5 minutes for a thin coat. Not much help for cracked fingertips. You'd have to put several thin coats on to fix cracked fingertips, with each coat taking 5 minutes to dry. It took me 30 minutes to seal up my fingertips. After a couple handwashes, you have to do the process all over again.
