Blocks sun very stylishly. It also does not weigh my 4C hair down. I barely have to fluff my hair after wearing it. I'm protected from the sun and my hairstyle is protected from being weighed down/matted. The hat is very lightweight and effective on multiple levels. I highly recommend it.

This hat has a great design and offers decent sun protection. However, I found it a bit overpriced for the material quality. I ended up returning it and found another hat for half the price with exactly the same look and feel. While this is a great option, there are more affordable alternatives available.**Update to five-star - they priced it lower recently, so I got a few of those. Love the hats!!

Comfortable in hot humid weather

I have bought the biege one and love it. I can shape the front and side however I want to have different looks. It has given me good sun protection (77-80°F) and kept my head dry (no sweats). It's machine washable (I did not use dryer). The material is good and very easy to fold and pack in small space.

I’ve worn hats all my adult life to (try to) avoid sun damage. Wide brimmed hats are my usual go-to but they can be inconvenient bc they take up so much space.This bonnet checks all my boxes for a hat:- Wide brim- Ventilated (the material allows airflow without the typical (unattractive) mesh)- Adjustable- Travel friendlyThe hat wears like a baseball hat but has extra width that covers the ears & cheeks. My lower face is more exposed but that’s to be expected with the style.The material is soft, pliable and (for the most part) wrinkle free. I wouldn’t go as far as to say ‘crushable’ bc the brim’s edge has stiffness (that holds its structure) but the part that your head goes into can be rolled up without wrinkling.I have it in black and beige and love both colors ♥️

A great hat that completely covers your face from the sun. I bought it for a vacation on the Ocean and I am very happy. It is very light. And it lets air through.
