I am upset that when I ordered I was told "choose a size" but there were NO choices for size presented! They sent a girl's size 12 which does not fit my granddaughter who I wanted to try this out!!They look nice but the "light" compression -- just from see how it stretches -- may be a bit too firm for some young girls.The material I will say feels great and is just like something I own that is very great to wick away sweat!

We found these were a great option for under a TaeKwonDo uniform. The slick feel of the material is wonderful to help avoid bunching or snagging. Cotton underwear + cotton TKD uniform can pull and bunch which is uncomfortable and distracting during a tournament.They were snug and a challenge to get on, but once they were on she realized that the snug was on purpose but not too constricting. This is also a great barrier when needing another layer between you and your clothing ('girl times *ahem*') when playing sports at a younger age.No tags, they do not rise up at the leg or roll at the waist. Not sure if I would buy several at this price point, but I could do 2 pairs and rotate.

I was excited to see the DRAGONWING GIRLGEAR UN-DEE LIGHT COMPRESSION MINI WORKOUT SHORTS as an option to order. My youngest is in cheer, and loves these types of form fitting pants to workout in. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to order the size she requires which she wasn’t too happy about. However, after trying them on I know she would love them. My younger daughter may have lost out, but older daughter gained a great pair of shorts. Just recently, she informed me that at times she has problems with chafing of her thighs. That won’t be the case with this product. I love that they don’t ride up – anywhere! These compression shorts provide a nice transition between child sized athletic wear and junior sized workout clothes. I think these probably fit pretty much true to size, but they might not work on a slim figured girl. They were a little large on my 10 year old test subject who wears a size 12 slim.The nicest feature is that it will provide a modesty barrier under a school uniform skirt yet it is light weight, fast drying, and well made with good stitching.Additional features include a reinforced dropped waist and a durable fabric.

I got these for my 11 year old with normal build for using at tap class.Too dark for ballet, and redundant over a leotard in some ways, they are great for slipping on before tap class.They feel a bit snug to get on the first time you wear them, but after that you don't really feel them.Ideal for a range of activities, she said she would also wear them under her tennis skirt.Not so cheap, but probably priced better than buying them from a dance studio, or specialized shop. 4 stars

I'm very pleased with these shorts! They are made to be worn as underwear with a soccer or other sport uniform, so girls can have the same kind of comfortable and well-fitting sports underwear as boys. The material feels high quality, very stretchable and comfy. They fit to size---my daughter is a 12 and the 12s fit her just right. They have a cute dragonfly on the bottom right leg, to make them look a bit more girlish!My daughter is autistic, and doesn't play sports, but these are just right for another purpose. She loves to wear skirts, but often isn't careful about not letting her underwear show when they are on. With these, she can wear the skirts with a bit more modesty, which I like! They are also big enough so they could be worn as bike shorts, I think, or as pajama bottoms on a hot day.It's nice to find well-made, simple, useful clothes for girls this age---I'm glad I had a chance to review these!

I’ve never owned any type of compression anything and my daughter has never worn any thing like this. I was a little nervous as she is picky about what she puts on. But these fit pretty true to size, she had no issues. She complained at first that they felt tight. But after giving them a try, she realized that they are SO comfortable! Perfect for tumbling class. Perfect for wearing under her dresses on a windy day. I was pleasantly surprised as I expected her to hate them. Instead I’m thinking I need a pair for myself!

Very comfortable shorts! Using for compression shorts to wear under a cheerleader uniform. They do not ride up and fit perfectly under the uniform. The sizing is true to size so no issue. They are made out of stretchy but comfortable material and they look like they will last a long time.
