fab little lens at this price range.
purchased this lens for my eos-m tto use as an astrophotography ultra wide lens. I already own a samyang 14mm f2.8 for my full frame but now need to reduce the weight im carrying out on night shoots due to health reasons. i have not tried this on a night shoot yet but plan to put it through its paces on dartmoor later this year. from the few test shots i have taken in the garden, this is a lovely sharp lens feels solid and corrections easy in lightroom post editing. looking forward to seing what this produces on the milky way photos due it's extreme wide field of view. excellent lens and at this price point a no brainer.

If you want a fish eye lens this is very good
Not a lens you’re going to use all of the time, but it is useful and produces interesting results. As it’s a lens that is hardly vital I did not want to pay too much. This lens is solid, well built and produces very good results.

Good lens, as long as you focus accurately and don't trust the focus scale
This review is for the 7artisans 7.5mm f2.8 Mark II APS-C Fisheye on a Fujifilm X-T5 40mp camera body. Optically the lens is good, especially considering the price. It is a bit soft at f2.8, especially away from the center of the frame, but improves as you close the aperture, f5.6 - f8 are pleasingly sharp across the frame. It's a manual focus lens you do need to focus carefully, I set my camera up to zoom the viewfinder. The focus scale markings printed on the lens are not accurate so don't trust them. This applies to close focus and to infinity (where nothing is sharp if you set the lens to the infinity mark). The lens does have quite a lot of CA (Chromatic Aberration) at f2.8, which shows up as purple fringing if something in the shot is backlit. This decreases as you close the aperture and is gone by f5.6. Physically the lens is solid and very nicely finished. I'd have preferred a clicked aperture, but that's a personal preference. I didn't have any problems with the small permanently attached lens hood appearing in photos. For me a fisheye lens is not something I expect to use a lot as it's quite niche. I'm happy with my compromise of not having autofocus, and getting a good lens for a fairly low cost.

Good wide lens
Happy with this lens, it can take a reasonably wide shot with the MFT sensor. Easy to adjust, no click on the appature ring.
