OverviewAriZona’s Arnold Palmer Half & Half is a tribute to golf legend Arnold Palmer, who popularized the simple yet refreshing combination of iced tea and lemonade. AriZona Beverage Company took that blend and turned it into a massively popular ready-to-drink beverage, available in iconic tall cans, bottles, and now multi-packs.It occupies a unique niche between soda and juice: less sweet than most sodas, more flavorful than plain iced tea. For many, it’s a nostalgic and affordable drink—often found in convenience stores, vending machines, and gas stations.Packaging & Branding: 9/10Design: The large 23 fl. oz. tallboy can is instantly recognizable with a portrait of Arnold Palmer, golf visuals, and a black, yellow, and silver theme.Aesthetic: Retro yet athletic. It evokes summer, sports, and Americana.Practicality: The can size is generous and often sold for $0.99 (a key draw). It’s resealable in bottle versions but not the can.Taste & Flavor Profile: 8.5/10Balance: The blend between tea and lemonade is surprisingly harmonious. Neither element dominates. The tea adds depth and slight bitterness, while the lemonade brings tang and sweetness.Sweetness: The original is moderately sweet—not syrupy like soda, but definitely on the sweet side. The Lite version tones this down noticeably and has only 50 calories per serving (vs. ~130 in the original).Acidity: The lemonade gives it a crisp, citrusy bite without being overpowering or sour.Mouthfeel: Smooth and light with no carbonation. It’s more hydrating than most sugary drinks.Nutrition & Ingredients: 6.5/10Original Version:Calories: ~130 per canSugar: ~34g (a lot)Contains: high fructose corn syrup, black tea extract, natural flavors, lemon juice concentrateLite Version:Calories: 50 per canSugar: ~13gUses artificial sweeteners (sucralose and acesulfame potassium)While the flavor is great, the original version is heavy on sugar, and neither version is made with real brewed tea—it’s reconstituted from tea powder/extract. Don’t expect antioxidants or health benefits. The Lite version is favored by people watching their sugar intake while still wanting the signature flavor. The Spiked Arnold Palmer (with alcohol) is a different experience altogether but retains the core flavor.Performance in Different Settings: 9/10Best Served: Ice-cold, ideally straight from the fridge or poured over ice.Occasions: Summer days, picnics, beach trips, after sports, casual sipping. It pairs well with barbecued foods or salty snacks.ProsUnique and iconic flavorAffordable (~$1 per 23 oz. can)Widely availableNostalgic branding with a clean tasteGood balance of tartness and sweetnessConsHigh sugar content in originalTea is not fresh-brewed (extracts used)Artificial sweeteners in Lite version may bother someCan be overly sweet for some palatesFinal Verdict: 8.5/10AriZona Arnold Palmer Half & Half is a refreshing, affordable, and well-balanced drink that lives up to its legacy. While not the healthiest choice due to sugar content and lack of real brewed tea, its taste and nostalgic charm make it a classic. It's ideal for casual enjoyment, especially on warm days, and offers enough variety to suit most preferences. If you’re into lemony iced tea that doesn’t overwhelm with bitterness or sugar (especially the Lite version), this beverage is an excellent go-to.

Refreshing.
Good price, arrived safely and quickly. I like the taste of these more than I remembered, they're not very sweet, but do have a slight tinge of sweetness that makes them enjoyable.

Its one of those drinks thats an acquired taste.
I have been drinking this tea since 1996 ( I was 7 at the time )and it still has that Sweet kinda Earthy ,but slightly bitter taste . I know that doesn't sound like it tastes good, but It actually tastes good. Its just one of those drinks the more you drink the more it grows on you. Just make sure you shake well before opening or its going to taste a bit off ! Lol I have a bad habit of forgetting to shake it time to time and I get a slight bad after taste as im drinking it. Overall Im still pretty pleased with Arizona Green tea and will continue to drink it until I get tired of it after a few weeks or months of drinking it and need a bit of a break from it ... but even when I have that happen I still find my way back to it . So glad Arizona Tea is still making this !

Watch out for a bad can
Last few cases had at least 1 can that turned bad. The fermented can leaves an awful aftertaste and almost made me gag. I recommend sniffing each can before drinking, just in case. Other than the random fermented can, it’s good and refreshing.

Yummmm
This tea deserves its flowers. The AriZona Blueberry White Tea is hands down one of my absolute favorites — and that’s saying something because I’ve tried just about every flavor they make.Right out of the can, the flavor is light, smooth, and not overly sweet, which is honestly rare for flavored teas. You get the crispness of the white tea paired with a soft, juicy blueberry flavor that somehow tastes fresh, not artificial. It’s got this calm, cooling effect like it’s trying to personally lower your stress levels. 😂I also love that it doesn’t leave that syrupy aftertaste like some other brands. It’s super easy to drink — refreshing, clean, and honestly just feels like a nice break from reality in a can. And these big cans? Dangerous. I blink and it’s gone.I keep them in the fridge at all times now. Whether it's a summer afternoon or just one of those “I need something comforting but not heavy” moods — this is my go-to.---Bottom line: If you’re looking for a tea that’s subtle, smooth, and dangerously sippable, this is it.Buy a case. You’ll regret not doing it sooner.

Hit or Miss
There was brown wispy stuff in the tea. These are particulates condensed from the tea, which may dissolve back in if you shake the can. Otherwise, most of the flavor goes in the wispy stuff and the tea will taste off. Good if you can get it to mix back in, but I won't be taking any more chances since there are times when the wisps don't dissolve no matter how much you shake.
