I purchased these for a barn door install. I used a router to recess the handle portion within the door. There's an approximately 1/4 face flange outside of the hole you will need to recess the handle so there's a little room for error when making the hole. My only complaint is that both of the ones I received were slightly warped, maybe 1/32in from corner to corner when laying face down. It's difficult to seen when installed, but was concerning and unnecessary given today's manufacturing processes. The inside of the handle is welded to the back of the face with a hole top and bottom to enable a screw to be inserted for retention in the door. Can't see the screws when installed and provides a nice and clean look.

Minimal, sturdy and fairly easy to install, it did take some chiseling out of the door, since the old handle was smaller, and this one needed a larger opening, but 10/10 would recommend. It matches our matte black door knobs perfectly, and even has a little lip that’s easy for pulling the door open.

Exactly as I wanted! We used 2 sets one on each set of these pocket french doors in our new construction. With the door being so slender they are basically in the door back to back nearly. Just FYI, if you are wondering how that worked like I did when searching for them.

Love the quality. The installation of the tiny screws is a bit difficult without the correct tools. And a mortise must be created to accept the handle. Even creating a perfectly sized mortise will not allow an easy install for the screws. I understand the location of said screws is such that they are hidden but it requires a bit if care. I opted to gorilla glue them in place and not screw them in. So far so good

These are a great buy! Reasonably priced, look great, easy to install (you do need a router) and the finger depth ratio is on-point. We currently just have the little circles that you can only fit one finger in to pull the closet doors open. These are a huge improvement! Would buy again!
