Better than the previous novel but not that good
Spoiler AlertTittle is his or hers but halfway down the novel we understand that the male lead is innocent of murders and only try to find who among the women is the killer.Alice Feeney should now stop writing unusual sexual fetish scenes to keep the scene more gore.In sometimes I lie the villain tries to have intercourse with a comatose patient. Her second novel the disgusting incest twist and this novel has lesbian abuse and teen orgy.Neither Catherine Kelly nor her children got the justice they rightly deserved.

Twisted. I loved it.
Anna who's a reporter is covering a murder case of a woman named Rachel Hopkins whose body found in the woods and her ex husband, Jack Harper is investigating the case. They seperated when their daughter, Charlotte died and now Jack is living with Zoe, his sister and Olivia, his niece. And Anna has an old mom to look after. One after another bodies found and they all were related to Anna. Will Anna be next victim? Or is she doing all this? Or is Jack doing all this? When there are two sides to every story then someone is always lying.I loved it's plot and characters. It's a twisted tale of revenge. I loved the characters of Anna and Jack. Although others were excellent too but not like Anna and Jack.Narration of the story is excellent. It blows my mind away.Alice Feeney is a real deal.Highly recommended.

Creepy and Weird
I couldn’t possibly write a review for this one but I want to write a short and sweet review of the book. This book is written in multiple POV’s- His, Hers and the Truth- Killer’s POV. I liked the idea of using the chapter names as His and Hers and that gave the whole book a suspenseful vibe.To be frank, I was confused at first, then went ahead and became imaginative and sometimes I honestly believed I got the killer right, and at that point I get deceived. Absolutely loved the chapters, the characters, the plot and twists that kept on increasing till the end.It is one of the most popular book I have seen and trust me it’s worth the hype because the author has done a exceptional job with this book.

A kind-of-okay story, that becomes boring by TOO MUCH EXPOSITION!
I was thoroughly annoyed by the author's narrative structure. She prefers to tell 65-70% story through internal monologue/exposition. A dialogue exchange between two people is the perfect opportunity to understand the dynamic between the two and understand the characters. Instead, there are two lines of dialogue and two pages of internal monologue where information is dumped onto you.The story is okay at best! But it pretends to be this Agatha Christy-styled novel when it is more closer to a Nancy Drew mystery (I like Nancy Drew mysteries, I just hate the pretentiousness). The two leading characters - The 'His' & 'Her' are boring, predictable and almost unlikable. The only interesting character is 'Priya' and she is barely given a moment to shine or for that matter enough time to understand the character.Overall, a disappointment.

I DID NOT SEE THAT PLOT TWIST COMING
Oh. My. Gosh! 4.5 STARSWhere do I even begin? This book is absolutely incredible - It's got all the ingredients for a perfect dark mystery thriller - emotionally disturbed protagonists, a brutal murder, a handful of suspects, a chilling backstory and a twisty storyline.I consider myself an amateur sleuth. After reading many thrillers, I rarely come across a story that actually surprises me. This one surprised me. I couldn't see it coming at all! I paid close attention to the voice, language and all the subtle hints - but it was all in vain. The author has left a trail of breadcrumbs throughout the book but manages to shock you completely with the reveal. I kept guessing at every point in the book, and thinking that I had figured it out. The last few chapters made me squirm with anticipation, the plot was just that captivating. Alice Feeney has outdone herself- I loved this book a lot more than "Sometimes I lie".The characters are flawed and that's what makes this book very realistic. *trigger warning* There are some gory scenes, rape and child molestation. But nothing that is uncommon for this genre in particular. I would highly recommend this to someone that has been looking for a mystery that will really test your detective skills. I listened to the audiobook version of this book which definitely contributed to the eerie atmosphere of the book, which I do recommend as well.

4-star!
Anna Andrews almost has what she wants, to be the main presenter of the BBC’s lunchtime news. She has worked really hard for this, putting work before her friends and family, and her ex-husbandDCI Jack Harper. But when someone threatens to take this all away from her she is ready to do anything to keep it. There’s a body uncovered in Blackdown, where Anna grew up and the victim turns out to be one of her schoolmate, she starts covering this story and she is very soon at the heart of it as the body count keeps increasing. As it turns out Anna’s ex-husband DCI Jack Harper also knew the 1st victim and had been in touch with her hours before her death, but he does not reveal this to anyone including his ex-wife.Someone is not telling the whole truth and this book alternates between the points of view of Jack’s and Anna’s (His & Hers).A total 4-star for the awesome ending in this book, fully totally loved it!

I am in a stupor
Holy cow, what did I just read? At first I didn't think I was going to enjoy this! The beginning was kind of slow, the characters extremely unlikable... And to be honest I'm not keen of reading only two pov....The story felt as if it was being told inside the two characters heads, instead of actually happening. It was hard to relate. Then once reaching 50% of the book, things started to heat up and I was turning the pages with held breath trying to figure out who the murderer could be.The author did a brilliant job of twisting the readers mind until you don't know who to trust anymore. I suspected everyone in turns only to be fooled at the end. A solid 5 stars for me!
