Very good looking model not that big but detailed

There are some really amazing and ground braking hull designs coming out of the Startrek.com universe and the USS Chimera is definately one of them. Looking more like The SEAQUEST DSV submarine (from the side) this ship has amazing views from Arft, Forward, Port, Starboard, Dorsal and Ventral. Although not in this model the saucer section opens up to reveal a massive concentric phaser array. The whole ship looks very robotic and inhuman; even drone-like and is a huge depature from the USS Enterprise dual hull design. My only nit-pik is that the model would look so much better at THREE-TIMES-THE-SIZE; other wise great buy.

The model came boxed etc.However one of the engines was snapped off the rest of the model. This is the second model that has arrived broken off amazon.I have fixed with model glue but some of the paint came off.Could have broken in transit, recommend that bubble wrap envelopes are not protective.But still, with the cost of these models being completely ridiculous since Eaglemoss's demise I still think I wad Lucky to get a good deal on the model itself
