A great device
This was more expensive than the one I first tried, the TL48, but this was able to consistently read and write a variety of 2716 style chips. The TL48 simply didn’t work well, giving different results each read and unable to write to some chips. This works excellent! The software is easy to understand and the read/write functions consistently. I’m very happy with this unit and the software. Even has a way to request additional chips being supported in the software. Very nice!

Works Well
Works well once you figure out the software and setup USB drivers. Need to know which version of the EEPROM chip you are trying to read and write to. Recommended.

DON'T DO IT
Been at this for half hour followed the directions and my WINDOWS 11 computer doesn't even recognize the programmer pluggen in usb progammer's power light comes on. Also note that when you download drivers it is up to windows 10 does not state win11. I really need this to work and NOPE big fail. I'll try some more but it don't work as in videos and follow links they go back to 2012 (?) seriously folks at some point this software needs to join the 21st century. This is a few months later and I stumbled on a setting in windows that explains why this programmer's software is useless. I would say what it is but the seller/company should know(?), obviously they don't.
