Water color pencils and water pen are a nice touch!One of the stand-out parts of this kit are the metallic pencils. They work well, though do require some force to get an even coating on the paper. Regular colored pencils do a fine job and blend better than Crayola. These are very soft and lay on a lot of pigment. As for the graphites, they are very standard and perform exactly as expected.Also included in the kit is a silicone shaper tool. In my experience I've usually used these working with clay, but I believe it is for erasing fine lines in the graphite to create highlights. It works for that, at least. Haha. Also comes with an assortment of smudge sticks, erasers, sharpeners, and pencil holders.This is a huge step up from the little kid kits you can find. Definitely geared toward older students. The case it comes with is great and I can see slowly replacing the existing materials with more professional materials over time. The case itself is worth at least a third of the cost! It's really very nice.Definitely recommend for the budding art student who wants to familiarize themselves with different materials. Older students will find materials they can use and a really nice case to put their own materials in. Adults who just wanna mess around and not spend a lot of money will enjoy this as well.

I'm not joking the colors are like very vibrant and pigmented I'm a artist so I dont like to get expensive because ik how they will be used😂😩 All the pencils are LIKE BUTTEEER!!!!Except of course the pastel & the H drawing pencil as they should. The watercolors are vibrant even using the pen even blend when u use the water pencil over the drawing they all blend so well. They blend together well no matter if it's the metallic with colored LIKE BUTTER! the water color don't dry or blend not so well with the others but u will be happy with this set! Tip* use silver big side of the sharpener for the pencils or else it will just break off, but using the correct side gives you a sharp point and pigment don't break easyUPDATE!! 10/7/22WAY BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. So I've been practicing with colored pencils and research videos on coloring w/ them etc. When I tell u these are great🙌🏽 I came with a update because the pricing is so low that I was like " this will help some body"! I don't got money like that to spend on high brands like Prismacolor or Arztec etc . These pencils work so great that I came back to see if they just sell the colored pencils😩 like the shading, blending, and pigment is perfect especially for the price😳😳🙌🏽

I think it’s a nice kit for a beginner artist like myself. It has pretty much everything you need to begin. It’s a really good price for all the tools and supplies you get!

I've had this for over a year now and I still use it all the time. I absolutely love it. It's so cute and the quality is amazing. It it is so worth the price and I love it. I definitely recommend it for yourself or for a gift.

My daughter is 9 and she loves to sketch and color her sketches. This comes with everything she needs. The quality is very good as well. You definitely get your money's worth. My daughter's favorite is the water colored pencils.
