These velcro stars are so handy to use in the classroom for small children. We use them to allocate carpet spaces. The children love having their own star and it helps them get used to new classroom routines as they settle into school. Just to note they only stick to rough high traffic pile carpet (like in school/office building). They do not stick to soft pile (like you would have in your home).

Bought these to use in my classroom to mark sit spots. Because of the way they came packaged in a drawstring bag, they're all curled up at the ends and won't lie flat. They just keep sticking to the children when they sit on them and keep lifting off.

The stars are a great alternative to the bright rugs you can buy for a classroom. However, the children fiddle with them so the corners start to turn up really quickly so they're not very robust.

When these arrived, I tested them on my hallway carpet and felt like a fool as they did not stick whatsoever. However, when I tested them in class, they worked a treat. 28 of them have been stuck in place and have not moved at all! Even with picky 7 year olds! I tried to move some around today and unsticking them was hard, they honestly have a great grip. Unlikely to work on all carpet types however...

I bought these for my classroom carpet, we have had spots for many years and I wanted to mix them up. These haven’t lasted well at all, the edges of the stars are rolling up and they don’t seem to fix to the carpet as well as the circles. Unfortunately I’m only half way through the year and going to need to replace them.

These unfortunately don’t work. Unless your carpet is thick and has big loops and a loose weave, these will not work. They don’t even stay down for 2 minutes. They stuck more the the children’s cardigans than they did the floor. It’s such a shame.

I tried these stars on 4 different kinds of carpet (at home and at work), and they wouldn't stick to any of them. Very disappointed as I wanted to use them in a classroom and thought they'd be perfect, but unfortunately not.

Needed 60 and only 59 in the bag. Annoying.... so actually made this a waste of money
