My kids loved these, great sizes but not to scale with the actual creatures if you have a kid who notices those things. Ex: ammonite is bigger than the sea scorpion. Paint does chip with rough play.

Perhaps the best paint and detail of any plastic animal toys I've seen. These are large, solid critters with an excellent detailing. Expensive but you get what you pay for, here.

Most children's models of prehistoric animals are of dinosaurs. The earlier animals are often neglected, and this set goes back to some of the earliest animals, twice the time back of dinosaurs, and represent animals that fossil hunters are more likely to find. These are well made and accurate. One item was missing from the shipment, but the company immediately addressed the issue. I'll be ordering more sets for gifts to grandchildren.
