Great quality
This was a fun gift for my friend. Sadly he had tumbled out of his chair in my Yoga class.So Thankful he was not injured to badly.He did receive a cut on his head.Thought the hard would be a fun gift.

I am very happy with the fit of this hat
The hat I received is identical to the one in the picture. The color was an exact match, which actually surprised me. Usually when ordering things online, there is a slight variance in color. Not with this item. The vents actually do help in releasing heat from your head and helps keep you cooler on hot days. I am very happy with the fit of this hat, as it does not sit high up on my head. The adjustable ratchet strap has held up well for the last month and the padding on it seems to be of good quality. I doesn't rub my forehead raw like other hats have done in the past. Also for those that are curious, this hat is reversible, in that you can wear it backwards, and keep the ratchet in the back. When this on wears out or expires, I believe that I will order another from Pyramex.

Worn when required
I am occasionally on a commercial jobsite where I am required to where a hard hat and don't like wearing community shared equipment for obvious reasons. I don't have to worry now and even though I'm not used to wearing one I have found this model to be very comfortable.

Does the job. Sits a little high on your head.
I bought this primarily for working in the attic, because I got tired of bumping my head on the rafters and the roofing nails (ouch!). This works great for that. It stays firmly on my head and is still comfortable. The size setting is set and forget. Once you have it adjusted, you just put it on and take it off like a regular hat.My only small complaint is that it sets a little high on the head. This, I suppose allows for some air space between the top of your head and the top of the hat, improving ventilation. But it does mean I hit my head on the rafters more often, but it doesn't hurt anymore when I do.Recommended.

Just a shell
Can’t even wear it as it came with no straps or wrapping just a loose hard hat shell in a box with other items. How is this going to work to protect your head did I miss something???
