Clarks Mens Markman PlainDriving Style Loafer

I love these shoes. Tried them on in a Clark's store in Florida but did not have my size in this color. Got the name of the product, bounced on amazon, found them and they were about $30 less expensive. I haven't even gotten them broken in yet but they're already soft and comfortable! The real leather is good quality for a shoe in this price range. I'm sure the leather will age nicely. The craftsmanship, once again is fantastic for a shoe in this price range. I primarily bought them for the color to wear during the fall months , but after seeing and wearing them, lol, these are the year around shoes!. I would definitely buy again!

I pretty much wear Clarks for just about all my shoes. When I saw the price was less than $40, I pulled the plug on this. I normally wear 12 wide or 13 regular. With no wide options, I got 13 but these are narrow. The fit without any socks or super thin silk socks. Hopefully, they'll stretch over time. They are extremely comfortable, casual and can dress up or down. I see some people complain about the big toe end wearing out prematurely as the sole doesn't extend all the way to the edges. I do love them and feel very nice for driving as you can feel the pedals while having that extra 1-2 inches to put your feet on the dead pedal or under the pedals if you are on cruise control. I'm loving these and will be keeping them. Update 06-21-2025 Like all the other previous reviews, the front toe area gets chewed up pretty quickly as the sole doesn't extend all the way upfront. I did a modification by cutting a shoe sole repair to cover up the chewed up area. For the price of less than $50, I'd still give it 5 stars as it's very comfy for a shoe style like this.

I bought mine a year ago and it still looks great! The size fit me! This type of shoe is very comfortable!

These are really comfortable and the look—half casual, half dressy—are perfect. I can wear them with slacks or shorts and they look great!

Very comfortable I will refill

My husband said these are not sturdy shoes- something about the insoles moving around has caused him to turn both ankles at different times. I thought they would be comfortable, being Clark’s brand. Very disappointing!

Shoe is comfortable. I have bought the dark brown twice and both times they have sent the tan ones instead. The box says dark brown, the item description says dark brown but what’s inside the box is tan. Too much trouble to send back so I just wear them.
