Wheel Chair Bag / Walker Side Pouch - Pair

It sounded like a great idea because Mom was keeping her tissues under her shirt front when in her wheel chair. The bag hung down too far and interfered with the wheel, so I put the bag on the inside next to her. With it there, it was too tight for her to reach into it comfortably. She also has a transport chair and having the bag on the outside works well, but the armrest it goes over is so narrow the top of the bag slips on it. That's not a good thing when she's holding onto it for support when getting in or out of the chair. I have to remember to slide it back when she's doing that... and get her to remember that it's there holding her small items!

Worked better than expected for my 87-year-old mother's rather small wheelchair.We ended up turning them with the pockets on the inside and she loves that she can carry her items like tissues, reading glasses, etc, with her into the dining room, activities room, etc. at the assisted living facility. It does help that she is not a very large person, so this works well with enough room. I will probably order another set so I can have a spare when I have one set in the laundry. (I have laundered this current set twice and they came clean and did not shrink). I just added a gel cushion to her seat of the chair, and there is still enough room with the pockets on the inside of the arms.

As a wheelchair user, I am always looking for a bag or pouch that I can use on the sides of my chair so when I saw these, they looked like they might work. On the plus side, they attach easily over the chair arms with velcro fasteners and are sturdily made from denim. On the minus side, the pocket is not deep enough and the bag tends to hang over the wheels, getting in the way when I'm trying to push myself around. The product description says they can be used for wheelchairs, walkers and bedrails. I think these pouches would work best on walkers. On bedrails, because of the shallow depth of the pouch, when the bed is raised to a sitting position, the contents of the pouch might fall out. It's a good idea but I think it needs a redesign. I would recommend them only for walkers.

VERY NICE PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY. HOWEVER, IT GETS IN THE WAY OF THE WHEEL WHEN YOU TRY TO ROLL AROUND. I JUST FLIP IT AROUND TEMPORARILY AND PUT IT BETWEEN ME AND THE SEAT. THEN YOU HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THINGS FALING OUT. BE MUCH NICER IF POUCH CLOSED WITH VELCRO STRAP OR ZIPPER.I would buy it again as it is a bargin at $15 for 2 pouches.

Bought these for my Dad & also his friend who are in wheelchairs in Assisted Living. Would HIGHLY recommend for use on a wheelchair. Just put the pockets on the inside of the chair, not the outside as shown in the picture because they get in the way of the wheels. When used on the inside of the chair, there is still plenty of room to sit in the chair and they are not in the way. They can put their mail in the pockets, they carry hand sanitizer in them and they can even bring leftover food from their meals back to their rooms in a small container.

The product itself is durable and sturdy. The detailed description of the product said it could be used on hospital beds, and that's why I bought this product. My mom had knee surgery and will be in rehab in the hospital for 3 weeks. This pouch does NOT fit some of the new styles of hospital beds. However, she does have a hospital-style bed at home, and it works fine on that rail. I gave this product three stars because of the misleading details.

I like this. Came with two (one for each arm). Carries any cell phone(s), a paperback, note pads, pens, scissors, keys, water bottle all at once, etc. Very convenient. The top is like lambs wool. Very soft. I actually use mine on a transport chair!! Transport chairs have skinnier arms but these still attached perfectly and secured with built in velcro.

i use these bags all the time. i am able to put my cell phone in the pocket. and anything that i may need without using my pocket book. these bags are so handy
