Maurer & Wirtz Tabac Original After Shave Lotion for Men, 6.8 Ounce

This has a great clean, leather, tobacco aroma. This is one of my "new" favorites. What is nice is that the smell lasts almost all day.

Over the past 60 years, I have probably used every affordable cream, lotion, and after shave liquid. I love everything about Tabac and have finally stopped shopping.

Woodsy and fresh and masculine. Have been using it for years, ever since I discovered it during studies in Europe.

I rarely review products here but took great exception to the other review so felt I had to. I have been using Tabac products for years and love them. There are few mens products that have such a range of items (shave cream, cologne, deodorant e.t.c) with a great classic scent at a reasonable cost. The only thing I would do is to make the scent last longer!

EXACTLY AS I REMEMBERED IT -

It’s light and clean and the scent lasted about 3 hours but it smells NOTHING like the old time USA barbershops I have experienced in my life. It’s more like the smell of a woman’s perm than it is like bay rum or something manly.

As soon as I tried this horrific product I instantly became angry...at myself...for buying it, at Germany, for making it and at the World for not banning it. I think my Dad left me in the Barbary Coast in Vegas for an hour and every old drunkard in there must have had a gallon of it on, or I was locked in a room with some cast member from Saturday Night Fever in order for a rush of horrific memories to come to pass from just the odoriferous and vile pancreatic cancer in a bottle. Amazon will not take it back as "not as advertised" because they said it is hazardous materiel, which is an understatement, but I guess its OK to send Hazardous Materiel to MY house ? I bought it as a recommendation from an very educated friend of mine, little did I know he must have had inhaled Nitric Acid and his olfactory senses were completely destroyed, or he may have just used this for a week and the same thing happened. So I guess he gets a free bottle of TABAC next time I see him because I am afraid to mail this "pain in a bottle" God man I scrubbed my face and put on three coats of Bay Rum (for real men only) and I can still smell it, or more like FEEL it trying to come thru ! Creeping ...oooozn thru. Hes still my friend........Bros before Gigolos !

Ce parfum qui appartenais a mon défunt arrière grand père , est la mémoire olfactive la plus sensible et forte pour moi ! Jen rachèterai Meme si il y a un petit changement dans la composition car l'odeur diffère un peu , il manque un truc
