PILOTG2 Retractable Rollerball Gel Pens, Fine Point, 0.7mm, Purple Ink, 6 Count

I'm personally a fan of the G2 model pen, it writes well in almost every scenario and lasts a good amount of time.I have a supervisor who really likes the color purple so I got these as a gift for her and she really loved them.These are just like the black G2 pens, so the quality and comfort is consistent. No pens were leaking or damaged, and the color was nice and vivid.

I use purple for all my journal. These are the same vibrant color I have been using. Can’t never have too many purple pens. Happy with my purchase.

These pens write so well and Sharp.The value is great for what you pay.The color ink pops right off the paper.

G2s are my favorite pen and this beautiful purple color is perfect for me. They are comfortable to write with and the ink is very smooth.

I like them enough that I'm going to keep them, but I won't be repurchasing when they're gone. (Or getting ink refills.)The color is LOVELY. Very vibrant. Very easy to tell what *I* have written on, versus my coworkers' black/blue pens.I like that they're click-pens, too.Buuuuut...They smear. A lot.Depends on what you've written on, but anything that isn't super-immediately absorbent? Don't touch for a few minutes unless you want it (and your hands) streaked with purple smudges. You'll also get occasional ink-blobs on your paper, regardless of how absorbent it is.As you get past the halfway point in ink-usage, too, they have a tendency to "pause" in inflow in the middle of writing.I'm on the 2nd of my 6 pens right now. Obviously, your mileage will vary depending on how much actual writing you do, but the 1st pen lasted me just under 2 months. I use mine mostly for jotting down notes while talking to customers for orders or annotating printouts for coworkers. I'm not handwriting pages and pages of things all day.I bought some Bic Round Stic Grip pens (also purple) at the same time as these, and I like them better. Their purple is a more light, metallic-y lavender than the bright purple of these G2s, but they're still quite easy to read. I haven't used them as extensively (it's my policy to use up things I like less, first, and "save" the ones I liked better for later), but have not noticed any streaking.

As others have mentioned here - these pens arrived in a generic plastic bag, not from the manufacturer. I think third party sellers purchase these pens individually in bulk and then put them in a bundle. At the end, it was the same quality that we've come to expect from Pilot pens. The color was fresh and vibrant.The only thing to note is that there was no protective plastic "ball" (not sure of the proper name for it) on the tip of the pens which made me want to immediately return them. But then I thought that perhaps, the seller tested all the pens before sending them to Amazon which made sense. The ink level was untouched (and yes, I checked every single pen). I do take my stationary supplies seriously. :-)Conclusion: if this is the color you are looking for and the price fits your budget, then go ahead and get them. Amazon offers returns for a reason.

They are absolutely funny and wonderful, and my husband loves them bought them for him while he is at work
