It’s like Christmas butter!
My boyfriend is severely allergic to all things nut. Even a mild allergy to soy. I love peanut butter. But I’m scared to have it in the house in case I get it on something and accidentally send my boyfriend into shock. I’ve been looking for alternatives and saw this on shark tank I believe. Of course I had to try it because we love oats. It came in today and I’m obsessed. Cute box and packaging. It separates right away which is natural and normal. Don’t panic. I stirred it thoroughly. It’s not the same consistency as peanut butter but I don’t mind. It tastes amazing. I licked it off my finger and can’t wait to make a sandwich out of it. It’s like Christmas peanut butter. I am so happy I finally found an alternative to peanut butter I can not only have in my house safely but share with my boyfriend. It’s delicious. Even if you can have peanut butter this is great as another option. I love it and recommend it. I can’t wait to see how he loves it too!

Healthy
I LOVE that there are no seed oils or refined sugar. Wouldn’t buy it if there were. Delicious.

This stuff is GOOD!
I’m allergic to everything and HATE sunflower butter. This doesn’t taste like peanut butter but has that same rich flavor profile and texture I crave sometimes! I love it as a dessert on bread. It’s so good! Expect it to be thinner than peanut butter too. If you know what to expect you ll love it. (I really do love brown sugar oatmeal…so if you hate oatmeal you might be hit or miss with this) NOTE: you have to stir the heck out of this stuff the first time. Use a blunt knife and stir, stir, stir.

Good peanut alternative!
This stuff needs to be stirred up good before spreading. Took all of 30 seconds. The first bite I was a bit taken aback. Wasn’t sure what I thought of it as it has a gritty kind of texture which I suppose I should’ve been expecting since it is made from ground oats. After a couple of spoonfuls it grew on me. It basically tastes like a cinnamon gram cracker in spread form. I mainly got it for my son since he can’t have any tree nut products at school. He is 5, and I had him try it to see what he thought. He said he wanted to Finish his other peanut butter first and then use this one. I did indeed send him a sandwich with this stuff and a little fluff to school and I just looked and he ate it all so mission accomplished. Only issue is the price. It’s ridiculous what you get for $12. It seems like it’s in line with some of the other peanut free spreads. Personally although I like it, I’ll only be using it for his sandwiches because I’m not trying to have to buy this at that price multiple times a week. Just super pricy and god knows it only took them a small fraction of that to make.

We love granola butter in our house!
Stumbled upon granola butter for my picky toddler. It’s a great alternative if you can’t have peanut butter. For those who don’t know, The texture is “runny” and is not completely smooth. (it’s supposed to be!) The flavor is absolutely delicious-kind of like a cross between cookie butter and teddy grahams. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but my little one doesn’t have many foods she liked so I splurge on this.

No longer organic: Ingredients Sell-Out
THIS ISN’T THE OAT HAUS YOU REMEMBER! I used to love this product. It was made with all organic ingredients and organic extra virgin olive oil. The company has now become no better than other junk you might find on the shelf of any store. They’ve changed their once organic, clean ingredients in favor of cheaper, non-organic, inflammatory ones. There are NO organic ingredients at all anymore, and now they use Sunflower oil: an oil shown to cause allergy flare ups as well as inflammation. I will not purchase this product ever again. They went the cheap route and compromised literally all their standards. It’s a shame, because it had been a really great treat to have that augmented my desire to eat clean as well. So disappointing.

Like gritty graham cracker paste
This isn’t a bad product, but you really ought to know what you’re getting. As an alternative nut butter spread, it doesn’t really fit the bill. It’s a little too sweet, and it’s WAY to gritty/grainy/sandy. I have a hard time imagining making a sandwich with jelly and this - which I imagine most people are hoping to do. It would be way too sweet! And my kiddo, flatly objects to it, even as a small sample on a spoon. As an ice cream mix-in or a component is a baking experiment, this could be a win. I think this is potentially a great ingredient to pull in as your crafting your own unique dessert recipes. But is that what you’re looking for? So it’s fine for the right person. But proceed with caution, sandwich-makers!

The most amazing thing ever, period.
We are a nut free home so when I stumbled upon this back when they were Kween, I was so excited to find something tasty to have on toast. Since then, I’ve explored almost all their flavors and have decided eating by the spoonful is one of the most appropriate ways to enjoy. 😂 And now my two youngest kids have discovered how amazing this stuff is and will eat a jar between the two of them in one day if I let them. Needless to say, we have to order plenty and I have original on subscribe and save so I can enjoy daily with my sliced apples because that’s my favorite way to eat apples now. Oh, and being back coffee. Please and thank you. 😘
