These actually work and seal well. Put the rough side down against the vacuum sealer and the tiny bubbles in the rough side allow all the air to be sucked out. The top side is smooth and has a big white box to write on and that is where I label the bag's contents. They are nice and thick and don't break open in the freezer. They are precut to the right size to put 2 to 4 portions in. They save us a lot of money because I cook in bulk and freeze meals in them and all I have to do is open up a bag and reheat the contents. I also buy chicken and pork chops in bulk and put 2 to 4 pieces in each bag and they stay fresh in the freezer for 6 months or more. This is the only brand I buy now because they are the perfect size and they seal perfectly every time! They are excellent quality and a great price!

These WEVAC precut vacuum sealer bags are our go-to bags because they work well with our machines and seal reliably. The bag material and resulting seal can easily handle long term dry storage, freezing, boiling or microwave cooking conditions. On the rare occurrence that seal failed, it was simply due to user error: not providing a flat seam prior to melting, or not entirely cleaning the desired sealing area of all food debris. The bags are pre-notched for easy opening. I really appreciate the white writing space provided to label product, and that they come packaged in a box instead of a bag. Although these aren't the least expensive bags, their reliability make them indispensable in our home.
