For all those who spent a fortune (like me) on expensive and fancy dentistry whitening solutions that come in syringes or blue light ... this product will amaze you. it's cheap and very effective. I've been using it for more than five years, and swear by it. I use custom-made soft silicone (?) dental trays (price $40 for one pair that will last many years) and one tube of Plus White will last about 4-6 months.Plus White sometimes comes with a soft blue one-size-fits-all dental tray. It works fine, except that the upper and lower jaw are in one tray so if you are claustrophobic, it is not nice. Instead, try to get two of them and slice them apart with a very sharp knife in the middle to create one upper and one lower tray. Use for up 3-5 days at a time, maximum ten days in a month, for a maximum of 5-10 minutes each time. I use them when I shower. My teeth are really white and healthy. Don't drink coffee or dark liquids for several hours or more after use. Apparently, after whitening, the teeth are more sensitive to staining than otherwise.And the best of all for me? Don't laugh (like my dentist does ) but being hydrogen peroxide, I find it healthy for my gums. I'm not a dentist or a doctor so I have zero expertise in this field, but after a few days of using this whitening gel, any gum inflammation is gone. This is my experience, and I am not claiming it will have the same effect on you. But I once read that hydrogen peroxide was first used to treat dental disease and it's whitening effect was an unexpected side effect. It makes sense to me, based on my own personal experience.BYW, I use the Plus White whitening gel as well as the gel toothpaste. So far, it seems to be only available at CVS or online at amazon.

I use this whitening less often than recommended because of safety concerns (weakening the enamel of my senior citizen teeth). But even using it once or twice a week I do notice a definite lessening of coffee, red wine, etc. discoloring. It didn't give me a blinding Hollywood smile but does give a definite whiting with no ill effects of a strong bleach. And I did get a compliment from my dentist for my care of my teeth. I recommend it for a moderate improvement but don't expect the same results offered by professionals.

I have photos but I'm not exactly where I want to be after 3 days. I'll update when I'm done next week. It's probably no recommended but I use them with my whitestrips and wow I can see a difference after just one use. I did use this alone for 3 days so I know it does WORK by itself. I like using the mouth guard and since I got really stained teeth from my 4+ cups of tea and occasionally coffee; I leave it on for 15-20mins. I feel this gel responds better to your teeth with a uv light. The only reason for 4 stars is because the first bottle got exposed to heat in transit and was useless/runny and slightly leaking out of bottle. For a visual, imagine a sun bottle laying in the sand for 24hours at the beach in the hot sun; yes that's what my bottle looked like. I was afraid that baby was going to blow, it didn't though just bottle remained in expanded state. I got a replacement and the 2nd bottle again was swollen but the contents this time were more of a gel consistency. I recommend buying in store verses Amazon as it is a hit n miss your product will arrive unscathed by the sun. I will consider buying in fall or winter, I may get lucky as it can be hard to find unless you have a cvs or Walgreens around. The best most unheard of price efficient product love it <3333

Note: Some people seem to say this comes with a tray. It does not. At least mine did not. So be prepared to have your own on hand just in case.I am lucky that I do not have terrible teeth, but I am getting older and coffee is my second spouse. I was in need of some whitening and brightening.Every day for about 2 1/2 weeks I would fill my own tray with this item, stick it my mouth and take a shower. By the time I was done showering I would pop out the tray, rinse it out and carry on with my day. It was easy to use though I admit I did use it for more than 5 minutes at a time (usually 15 minutes, no more than 20).I had some minor gum irritation as could be expected from an at home kit, but nothing that couldn't be handled with a little sensitivity cream.At the end of the 2 1/2 weeks I had minimal results. My teeth were a little brighter but not noticeably so if I didn't do a selfie comparison. Thankfully this was cheap and might be ok as a product for maintaining brightness, but not as a whitening system on it's own.

Of all the expensive teeth whitening products out there, this cheap gel works just as well if not better than all the other strips and gels I've tried. When I bought this it didn't come with the trays that you put around your teeth, so at first I didn't understand how to paint it on your teeth and keep it there for the 5 minutes. The trays help a lot and make it really easy to use. I didn't have any increased sensitivity or gum issues when using this, and my teeth were noticeably whiter.Like most people, I rely on honest product reviews to make purchase decisions. Bought this for my daughter who's a model and it worked like a champ. We had plenty of before-after pics to compare and we are both extremely happy with the results. My daughter never complained about feeling any pain or discomfort. Will continue to purchase product as it works if you follow instructions and stick with the entire treatment. We used a combination of both the cotton swab and mouth tray methods to ensure we had a nice layer of this stuff on all teeth, being careful not to go overboard and waste product. I will mention that you have to be patient with product as you won't see drastic changes within the first few days/weeks or so using twice a day.
