Dark, twisted , chaotic and perfectly beautiful "love" story
Did you ever have one of those train-wreck moments where everything is happening in slow motion and high definition with painful clarity yet you cannot stop it? Well reading Malum was one for me! I didn't feel the full impact until the beautiful blow of Amo Jones crushed my heart. This dark, twisted and chaotic story has left me in complete shock and daze. The world of Elite Kings Club is full of power games, danger and darkness at it's best. Tillie Stuprum is forced to go back to this world after she ran away from Nate Riverside-Malum a long time back. She has secrets that she doesn't know herself. But the evil ones know. And so does the wicked players in the game. The story has innumerable layers with mindblowing complexity. And you need to go in blind and get sucked into this soul-numbing darkness. The story has some of the darkest things I have ever read. So prepare yourself. And I have cursed her for the ending because how could she left us like that??What I loved most was Amo's unapologetic story telling. She isn't softening the harsh and cruel reality. She writes exactly what to write to do the character justice and I won't have it any other way.Nate is full of rage, contradictions and bitterness. He can be really sick, indifferent and almost abusive to Tillie. And sometimes he is the most caring and protective guy around. He is giving me whiplash with his arrogant and insufferable personality. And I love that about him. And Tillie isn't going down easy in the game. She is strong and real. Her pain broke me badly! And the chemistry is so explosive!! This is a very different kind of romance. The love has to wait behind destruction and wrath of revenge. My head is reeling from the twists and I still have no idea what is happening!Malum is more than dark romance. Malum is more than a psychological thriller. Malum is survival and heartbreak. Amo Jones has filled this mindblowing story with intense passion, devastating emotions and captivating characters. This was a ride of a lifetime.Received ARC for Honest Review

I didn't particularly like Nate & Tillie
I always knew that I was not going to like Nate & Tatum and now it seems like I have a new name to add to that list and that is Tillie.I love Madison & Bishop and u don't understand how all of a sudden they started to have "issues" in their relationship. And suddenly, Tillie is depicted as some all mighty queen and everyone is calling her smart. But, I have no idea how does she become smart out of nowhere? Just because she came from a strong bloodline? Yeah, I'm not buying that.Madison would always be the ultimate Queen to me. It's because of her that all of this started and in this book she's portrayed as some spoiled annoying version of her badazz self.I didn't really like this book, probably because of the high amount of drama and Nate's thing with Tatum. I didn't really feel the connection between Nate & Tillie and I really didn't like Nate's attitude. The only good thing in this book was Madison & Micaela and also Brantley. I don't know what happened to Bishop & Nate, it's like the had a sudden personality change. I'll have to read the next book to see whether I liked Nate's story or not.
