Nice tone
Received the Bright Low G, was able to make 2 sets, the Low G is wound which it really doesn't matter to me if it's wound or not, as long as they sound good when strumming and finger plucking. I installed them on my Aklot Solid Bambo CutawayTenor. Nice tone, excellent intonation didn't take long to keep strings in tune with a few stretching. Worth the price you get 2 perfect sets awesone, will purchase more when the 2nd set is used. My go to Tenor Low G. I recommend these strings.

Aquila Nylgut Player finds fluorocarbon to be just fine.
This was my first purchase of fluorocarbon strings. Initially they seemed unusually thin and hard. As I played them in, that feeling gave way to one of precision, aided by newly formed and repositioned callouses on my fingertips. The sound of these strings is great and the best thing is that there are actually two sets of strings in this package. You have to cut the strings as packaged in half to yield the two sets, but the the length of one half is plenty. I would recommend these strings to anyone with a uke.

Good sounding monofilament strings
I have always used Aquila ukulele strings with the low g red string. I prefer the linear tuning because of my background in guitar. I decided to try the Oasis brights because of the mellow tone of my koa and mango wood ukuleles. The bright sound of the strings brings a balance between the tone wood and the strings. I think it sounds really nice. They are a bit challenging to put on if you're not family with the knot used at the bridge. The monofilament let's go if you don't get the knot right. It's a great value in that you get the equivalent of two sets of strings in each package. I'll use them again.

Best strings ever
I've been looking for the perfect strings for my concert uku and finally found them. They are warm with the perfect amount of brightness. I will always use these on my Cordoba 28c. They didn't sound so great on my Koaloha Tenor.

Low G sound, but ...
The wound low G string isn't well matched to the other strings in the set. Yes, it makes a low G sound but the color and volume are very different from the other strings on my particular tenor uke. The information I gleaned from the internet is that a wound low G string is necessary to carry the lower frequency, but this set makes me wonder if going all flourocarbon isn't the way to go. Tip: the little A string is slippery and required an extra twist to keep it from slipping out of the bridge.

Might be my favorite uke string set
I love these strings ... still trying to decide if I like these as well as the Aquila red low-G set. They are definitely comparable. Great strings. Fast shipping. Really fast settling (stretching) of the string set ... after three days they are staying in tune.

2nd string snapped while just sitting there.
I love the sound. The low G was exactly what I wanted. The others are bright as promised and I’m pleased except that on the first set the 2nd E string simply gave way just sitting there while I was not playing. Had to install the spare and now I’m short the promised two sets. Oasis charges almost as much as a set, with shipping, for one new string. I guess I’m just out the money as this was sold thru Amazon via a third party seller. As I said, I do like the sound of these.
