Heaven Official's Blessing: Tian Guan CI Fu (Novel) Vol. 1

I absolutely love all of MXTX’s novels. But heaven’s official blessing is by far my absolute favourite! I love Xie Lian and Hua Chang’s friendship in the first novel and honestly read all 8 books in 9 days ❤️ I frequently read them all again because of my love for them! If you need a reason to buy this series let this be it! You will not be disappointed by the story, the love and the pain that is felt for these characters

I'm so pleased I purchased the hardbacks cause they are a sprayed edge edition and it looks beautiful. the item description didn't make it clear and I haven't seen any photos of the hardback so I thought I'd post about it so people can see that the hardback edition has a sprayed edge, illustration end papers and it also comes with a silver book ribbon.

I know EXACTLY the kind of people buying this book and if your looking at the reviews to check wether you should buy it then YES YOU SHOULD!!! this is your sign. The cover is PERFECT to use for a poster or just to keep on the book whatever floats your boat but OMG its stunning and the book series is just *chefs kiss* FABULOUS!! This was my first ever Danmei and it holds the most special place in my heart for that reason, if this is your first of 257th book series I 100/10 RECOMMEND!!

Ho ho ho

This is the first official English translation of Heaven Official's Blessing (a.k.a. Tian Guan Ci Fu/ 天官赐福/ TGCF) and it's a joy to have this in both physical and e-book format. The translation was well done and brought the story and characters vividly to life. Xie Lian and Hua Cheng will always be my favourites but I'm enjoying the portrayal of the other characters so far as well. I love the fact that there are explanatory footnotes which are actually linked properly in the ebook which is a feat many non-fiction books have trouble with. Really pleased to have the chance to read this again (& again) and the artwork inside, although only a few pages in total, is beautiful to look at.

I started reading the book series after watching the animation with the same name and reading this gave me more of an insight into the characters. I normally don't like reading books but I couldn't put this one down and finished it within a few days. The story is easy to follow along and the appendix at the back of the book explaining everything in more detail in case you are confused was very helpful. I cannot wait to read the other books and see how this story progresses. Overall this book is definitely worth your money and time.

OMG. I loved the quality! The cover is so polished and pages are so clean. The letters and images are also very well printed. This makes reading so good.

L'animé étant magnifique, certains pourraient être rebutés par la version papier. Quelle erreur ! Le roman est une pépite, tout comme MDZ (précédent roman de l'auteure que je recommande également vivement, récemment traduit en français sous le titre Le Grand maître de cultivation démoniaque). Tout comme MDZ, les personnages, les liens entre eux sont complexes et tellement bien travaillés qu'on a l'impression de sentir l'emprunte de leur aura. Je ne suis pas très fan des romances en général mais ici l'histoire d'amour est si bien mêlée à l'histoire épique, tragique du héros qu'on se laisse entrainer avec plaisir. Il faut continuer à lire les prochains tomes, certains passages (pour ne pas dire beaucoup) feront hurler votre petit coeur...

I am not really a reader but I was struck with the great story telling and now I am so obsessed and definitely reading all of them. Book was delivered fast so thank you.

There's honestly no need for me to review the story, it's amazing and you'll be hooked by the prologue. But quality-wise, the book itself is beautiful, mine came with no scratches or tears, and overall I'm very satisfied. I've read other reviews saying their copy came in damaged, but there was no problem with mine, so maybe the issue has been resolved. My only complaint is that I had preordered this item was back in October, and it was still late by one month. This is probably an issue with the distributer, but I would take the shipping date with a grain of salt.
