Compared to the same quantity of the highest protein nut, peanuts (which I can't eat anyway), these are double the protein, contain dietary fiber, have 15% of your daily iron needs and are actually slightly lower in calories.The taste is nutty in a way - dry roasted - but does still have a little of a "greener" taste to them. These are just lightly salty.They are very dry in texture and I have to drink an entire glass of water when eating them, but TBH I think this is a pro for me because (1) it fills me up even more when I need a snack boost and (2) helps me work on staying hydrated.Added bonus: edamame are considered one of your "5 a day" veggies in the beans, peas, and lentils subgroup of veggies.This is a great, healthy snack all around!

I love these. You cannot go wrong with the size of this container for the price. This lasts me about 3 weeks to a month and I eat some almost every day. They’re crunchy and just a bit salty, it satisfies that urge to munch on something crunchy. Tasty and good for you. I have one wish, that Seapoint Farms would make a couple other flavors (not wasabi), like ranch or salt and vinegar. That’s not a complaint, just a suggestion.

I wanted a low cal high protein snack, and this fits the bill. They taste good and are not too salty, but they are a little hard to chew. Unlike nuts like peanuts or others, they are harder. I particularly wanted the benefits of soy, and this has that.

Love this. Pricing reasonable on Amazon for the size. Great snack to help curb other cravings . Taste is good, great-not stale.

I was really hoping that these would be a good snacking solution for cardio health and perhaps get me back on track to a more healthy lifestyle. They are crunchy, the salt is good, but.....I don't eat a vegan, vegetarian, or organic type diet. I love a variety of foods and will try just about anything. That said, these are just a little nuttier and occasionally almost have a fishy-type flavor that I'm not a fan of. I will finish the whole container in the next month or so and see if it produces the health effects I'm hoping for - but I may order a few packs of the wasabi edamame or add a few Doritos, hot sauce, chocolate raisins, or something else to help camouflage the taste of the 1/3 to 1/2 cup I'll have at a time. Sooooo, that may not sound like the healthiest option, but I'm hoping that my activity level and other dietary changes will offset the little bit of "junk" food so that I can finish this container.All in all, I'm sure there are lots of folks that think these are delicious, but I'm not one of them. For the price, I think they are a good value.

Great value for the amount you get - my husband and I have been working on this container for almost a month now and it's only halfway gone. Thankfully it has NOT gone stale, and continues to be just as crunchy and tasty as the day we first opened the container. It's not overly salty either, which we appreciate.

I bought these to snack on at my desk. Very hopeful, I cut the bag open ever so carefully. I sniffed it as though I was testing a fine red wine. I delicately removed 2 and popped them in my mouth. By the grace of god, no one saw my face which at that moment was expressing the desire to spit it out and wipe my tongue off with an antibacterial wipe. I couldn’t even detect a flavor of wasabi, as I was overcome with the texture similar to what would happen if you face-planted into a sandbox with your mouth open. Do not recommend this product or face planting into a sandbox with your mouth open.

Great source of protein but the wasabi flavor is DEADLY!!! They’re SO SPICY it literally cleans out my sinuses in .02 seconds after the first bite. They’re delicious but I really have a love-hate relationship with these because the wasabi is like a punch in the face. Highly recommend!!
