Quickly Detects Small Leaks
I used the ALD-200 to find a small refrigerant leak in my AC system, and it detected it immediately. The display is bright and easy to read even in the dark attic. Very impressed with the sensitivity and accuracy.

Perfect for DIY
Great for home DIY projects too. I found a slow leak in my basement AC system that I would never have noticed. The visual display is clear, and the alarms make it easy to know the leak level.

Easy to use
This leak detector works really well and is easy to use. The screen is clear, and the buttons are simple to understand. It finds refrigerant and gas leaks fast, and the loud alarm makes it easy to know when there is a problem. The long flexible probe helps reach tight spaces. I also like that it is rechargeable, so no need to buy batteries. Great tool for HVAC work and home use. I am very happy with this purchase!!!

Used this detector on a few service calls now and it’s already paid for itself. Super easy to use and picks up even small leaks fast. The sensitivity is solid and saves a ton of troubleshooting time. Battery life is great — I can get through a full day without recharging. Definitely a handy tool to keep in the van for quick diagnostics.

Good for the price
I used to own a TIF unit, but did not want to spend too much money on a replacement. As far as I can see, the battery is not replaceable, and the sensor is also not replaceable. However, for the price, it should be good enough.
