Can you use this product on dry hair?

Yes you can but use a hairdryer to fluff up you hair. I bend over and spray, then use the dryer.

Does it make your hair feel grimey or oily?

No great product. If use too much hair can get sticky.

Is this really a hairspray? A spray that holds the Hair in place?

I do not use it as a "hair spray" as to hold my hair in place. I use it as a styling spray on wet hair on the roots then I blow dry. I do love it. Hope this helps.

Is this like wax spray?

No it’s not like wax it’s not sticky it sprays clean on hair I have very fine thin hair and have been using it for years it does not weigh your hair down just gives it a nice volumn
