The glue never set up and the balloon deflated in the middle of the night. Total epic failure all the way around. Very disappointing to the little artist who was so excited to wake up to her masterpiece. She was so upset she threw away the blob that was left behind.

A mess that didn't dry, didn't stick and the lights don't work. Waste...total wastw

My daughter received for 10th birthday and she does tons of art crafts independently… little confusing on how to soak in glue, lay close attention to the directions. I ended up buying her a 2nd one to do with her

I initially bought this for as birthday gift for my daughter's classmate from school. The box came very soft. The size of the box is small. It is a total embarrassing birthday gift.Cons:- not giftable, box is very small (a little bigger than your palm)- retail box arrived softPros:- affordable rewarding gift- nice craft experience for girls

The item just didn’t work and very disappointing

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing but I did not because of the high stars that it had. My son is 8 and the only part of the whole project he could do was blow the balloon up. They tell you soak string in the glue and then wrap it on the balloon but getting the string to unravel from cardboard it was on was a nightmare. I ended up having to put string on the balloon and then I spread the glue over it. I do not know if this would have worked from the start since there had to be some glue on the string to get it to stick and start the shape. And as far as final product goes, I don't know yet because I was so angry about having spent my money on this that I immediately started this review once I got all the string on. I am a crafts person and do them all the time but I have never been more infuriated by something in my life. Glu got everywhere and my arms hurt from holding the balloon up trying not to get glue on things AND wrap string around it at the same time. I am just over it. Don't waste your money and save yourself some headache.

I gifted this to my 6 year old niece and she loved it!

Found this kit very messy and hard to do. The balloons would not stay blown up. The glue is so thick and sticky it was impossible to pull the yarn through. We ended up just putting glue on our hands and layered the glue over the yarn. Doing a star shape was not possible with the balloon deflation. Bought this for my 8 year old twins and would not recommend for any age. Clean up was very time consuming s as well.

It's a fun little kit, but there needs to be about double the amount of glue for all of the string provided.

Not for kids, too messy when dipping the string to the glue and wrapping the star. Lights are not as many as the picture shows. Can’t finish it on your own, need someone to hold the ballon for you when wrapping.

Bought this for my daughter. Both balloons had holes in them wouldn’t stay inflated), and the glue was extremely old. Wouldn’t recommend, you can go to the dollar store and buy what you need for under $10
