Al-Rehab Choco Musk Eau de Parfum Spray for Women, 1.65 oz/50 ml

Well, 16K+ Amazon reviews can't be wrong! This was yet another very successful blind buy for me. Holy smokes this stuff is unbelievable! For the price, you're really getting more bang for your buck - I mean, a fragrance that smells this good for a mere $7.50 - who does that??? Al-Rehab does that, and I for one, am very happy about it! 😁It's true their packaging and bottles do not scream "luxury". The box it comes in is very simple, the text/logo is kinda cheesy, and the bottle, while made of glass, is of a much lighter weight than other brands (compared to Nebras, for instance, that thing is a friggin BRICK), and the juice is rather, um..."technicolor" to say the least. However, all of that hides the surprise inside - the scent is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!!! 😍Right out of the gate, the first spray gave me a blast of chocolate, as if someone managed to turn a Hershey bar into a spray. Yes, the alcohol is there too (hey, it's 80% alcohol, whattaya want), but that dissipates quickly, leaving behind a sweet, chocolatey, vanilla confection with a hint of patchouli. There's nothing too complex here - no mysterious oud to give it a dark or smoky undercurrent, and even the musk is given a light hand overall. As with many fragrances, the longevity isn't great. Things start to fade away rather quickly, and while I can still smell chocolate and vanilla many minutes later, it becomes a "skin scent" in fairly short order. But where Choco Musk really shines is in layering! I tested it with By the Fireplace/Ameer al Oudh; Mix:Bar Vanilla Bourbon; Lattafa Nebras, and Cocktail Intense (also very cheap here on Amazon), and it blended very well with each (I plan to try it with other scents as well).I would categorize Choco Musk as a simple, very friendly gourmand (good for those dipping their toes into the gourmand fragrance world) that no doubt could put a smile on the faces of many. This is definitely not a serious scent - you don't want to wear this to say, a funeral, or even the office - but it's good for buzzing around town, hitting a movie, shopping with "the girls," or snuggling at home. And at this price, you really can't beat it - well done, Al-Rehab! 👍

This stuff is amazing. It's like someone said "I want to smell like a bakery, but make it sexy." And at this price point you can afford to apply liberally. I have received compliments every day that I have worn this. It's not overpowering its just a smokey, chocolatey, slightly spicy hint of a scent that makes anyone close to you want to get a little closer. When you first put it on the alcohol smell will hit you hard but it quickly dissipates and leaves you smelling like what you'd imagine the sexy Green M&M would wear. Admittedly, the color and bottle design leave a little to be desired...it's certainly not going on my vanity. But it's safely tucked away in an easily accessible drawer like a dirty little secret. ;)

Omg the hype was real for this this, so I had to pick it up. It honestly smells like its price to me. The synthetic plasticky-ness is definitely there on the top notes, but luckily calms down in the dry down.I do love it but it is not a designer or niche perfume. It is a juvenile chocolate, vanilla, musk. I dont get the marshmallow hot chocolate packet as much as people say because of the middle eastern base on the dry down. It is a sweet and musky skin scent overall. It is really fun tho!To make it more fitting for me as a 35 non binary person, I layer it with the Chocolate Amber spray and lotion from B&BW. Then it is so delicious and cozy with and amber musk drydown.This is not a fresh perfume but a gourmand fragrance, so I recommend it for fall and winter. Or for cold nights or going to bed.The atomizer is pretty weak but thay doesn't really matter to me. Though it does mean you have to apply more sprays.I would buy again just for the gimmick of smelling like milk chocolate, and for the affordability.5-6 hours longevity. And a legit Al Rehab product as well.
