Indoor use only!
Maybe I missed it in the Amazon details, but page 4 of the instruction book states (emphatically) that this product is for indoor use only(!). Well, I bought two, one for an inside door, and one for my front door, so one is getting returned. The set that I installed today works well so far, but did take a long time (approx. 3 hours) to install. That had more to do with my crap finish carpentry skills than the product though - I did have all the necessary tools. If you're not that handy, and especially if you're installing this in a new door and frame, you may want to pay someone to install this for you.

So easy to lose my house keys now 😂
Love this handle, very convenient Especially since we’ve been looking our self out with our house keys everywhere but where we needed them makes it easy to put our code in and get in the house and I like that everybody can have their own code and if we need a friend to come over and let the dogs out or feed the fish super easy and convenient

Numbers Didn’t Light Up - only randomly
Programmed easily but then the keypad wouldn’t light up, just random numbers. Bought a second one and the same thing happened. Maybe it just isn’t like my house energy. Used new batteries.

Ok for general usage
The touch screen is thoughtful, but the collar is too small, had to use something to get it on. The customer service was good, and overall it is on for general usage.

Locked me out of my house!
The only thing I like about this product is the auto lock as my husband works out town so having a device that ensures I lock my front door is comforting. The locking sound is loud enough I can hear it across the house so I always know if I forgot to lock it. My experience with this product has not been a positive one. This lock has seriously trapped me outside my house with my kids inside. Initially it was working fine, but after a couple weeks my mom started having trouble with the lock. She said the numbers weren’t all populating, and when they finally would, and she would type in my code, it would act like it was opening, but would then get stuck. My mom is one of those people that seems to always have trouble with “new” technology, so I initially blew it off as user error. Then there was the day where I got locked outside my own house. Numbers wouldn’t all populate, and when they did, and I entered my code, it would make this strange whirring sound for a few seconds, and then wouldn’t unlock. I tried several times with the same issue. All while my toddler was watching me from inside waving at me as I was trapped outside. Thankfully I had my cell on me and was able to remotely unlock my suv and open my garage door and get inside. So not only did this product lock me out, my mom was right, and I had to apologize to her, and she’s been gloating about to since. I would not recommend this product until they fix the bugs.

Quality lock but ONLY indoors.
So okay this is a quality lock. It's a little slight pain to put together but it's not time consuming or confusing. Just have to hold a few things at once. The build quality is good. I really like the fact that when you want to unlock it it will display a few random keys for you to press before your code. This helps remove the issue with wearing down only certain spots, and people watching you key your code in from a distance.A few notes though:You need to firmly press the keypad to wake it up.Make sure you hear the lock & beep. If it has issues it'll try 3 times then not lock.Use it INDOOR only. This is only mentioned in one small line of the instructions. When water drips onto the keypad it triggers like a finger and will beep over and over until I assume the lock dies.Overall this is a good solid lock to use if you have an indoor or well covered door you need to upgrade access via a keypad on. We have very covered main doors so we're able to use this and now have codes we can give out to family so they can get into our home if we need them to without prior setup.
