I ordered these as a last ditch effort to save my favorite hiking shoes from torn heel linings. I was worried that the adhesive wouldn't hold well, but I figured the worst thing that would happen would be losing an extra $8 and still having unwearable shoes. To my surprise, the adhesive actually has held up very well. I'll update this review if and when it fails, but I've been using them for a few weeks now without any problems. Considering that that patches cost me $1 each, they have already been worth the money.Update: The patches have lasted around 9-12 months each, which is amazing considering what an inexpensive fix they are for worn out heels. I just slapped new ones on and kept walking.

My work shoes had begun to wear at the heel and I wanted something to tide me over with them before I was able to get a new pair. These stuck ok however given the location of the rip and the patch they started to peel at the edges after a couple of weeks. They served a purpose while I needed them however I would not rely on these for a long term patch!

The outcome of the repair is gonna depend on the severity of the ripping, wearing, size of the shoe etc. The shoes I repaired were severely worn at the back of the foot due to misuse and shoving foot into shoe and the end result looked nothing like the pictures but did work as far as repairing the issue. I do recommend this product, only wish it came with larger patches for men's shoes of larger size.

It is the broken heel that has been killing me. All other part in shoes were okay. I was about to toss my shoes until finding this product. It works!

These were easy to put on and seemed like they had enough padding. But after about 2 days I started feeling the scraching on my heel again.It looked fine so I ignored it for another day.That was a bad idea.Upon taking it off I realized that the foam on the back that provided the padding had completely worn off where the rip was. You couldn't tell from the outside.I promptly returned them.

Not strong enough for when they’d be needed. Either glue them on or try something else. Or go to a shoe repair person.

These are amazing!! So worth the money!! We’ve been telling all of our friends about how great they are!

They don't work in my sneakers, but do work well in my golf shoes. It's as if, a shoe has a lot of heel cushion, they don't stick well.
