These water bottles keep ice (depending on how much you put in there) for just over 12hrs but the water stays colder for even longer. They're bulky but it's better than a smaller bottle and constantly having to refill it. Also, make sure you get the rubber bottom sleeve for it so it doesn't scratch the paint on it.

According to the description there wouldn't be a metallic taste, but I have noticed a metallic taste. This usually occurs when my water (no ice) has been in the bottle for hours on end. However, the appearance of the bottle is nice & you can tell it's well made.As far as the staying cold test here's what I have to say:-If I didn't use ice, my drink would only stay fridge cold for about 5 or 6 hours max.-I haven't tried hot drinks.-The Hydroflask bottle seems to keep ice not melted for an extended period. I could easy say ice will not melt in a 24 hr. period.Overall, I think there are other brands out there that can perform just as well as Hydroflask for the same price or cheaper (Yeti?).

Great item. I love the Hydro Flask bottles. It is a little smaller than I was thinking, but it is very sturdy and I love it.

I've had many other water bottles but the hydroflask had been the best. Never leaks, keeps my drinks ice cold for hours on end. Haven't tried hot drinks but come winter I plan on trying it out. Yes they're a little more expensive than the other ones but you really get what you pay for.

Keeps drink cold

Left this in my car during the summer in Texas..the next day the water was still cold! I don't think you can go wrong..my son now uses for football practice to ensure his water stays cold on the side line.

I am a big fan of hydro. Like any other hydro, this bottle keeps my drinks cold for 12 some hours; haven't tried hot water yet. When you buy it, expect a somewhat big bottle about 9 in by 6in (don't quote me). I love the bottle mouth its wide enough to shove ice cube inside but drinking liquid with ice won't be so pleasant.

This bottle is great. It certainly can take a beating and still keep your drinks cold.

I've had several brands of SS bottles and this is the most expensive and worst performing. I fill it with cold water on an evening to drink duration the night but by morning it's closer to room temperature. My previous SHO bottle would still be as cold as it was when I filled it.

The bottle looks beautiful first thing out of rhe box and does keep my drink could, but the paint scratche easily and wouldn't put it se ond time in the dishwasher. Very disappointing considering the price. I will go back to Yeti, it is expensive but does last

I love love love love this bottle so much. Bring it everywhere with me. Keeps water cold and nice and fits normal ice cubes. Amazing! However, it is a big and hard to fit in a bag but this is expected as it holds a lot of water.

Hydro flask bottles are really excellent quality. This one is over 900 ml capacity but does not appear too large. Highly recommended.

Honestly cannot think of an issue with this bottle. Keeps my drinks cool, no leakage, easy to carry around and drink from and really good quality. Very pleased x
