This wrap works really well. I have no cartilage left in my ankle so I am constantly taking Tylenol after hikes and other extended physical activity. This wrap allows me to relieve the pain without taking drugs. The only downside is that when I first put it on, it is so cold that it almost hurts. The pain from the cold goes away after a couple of minutes but those first few minutes can really throb. It’s nice since you can remove the ice pack from the pouch and keep it in the freezer. The pack is slim and doesn’t take much Room in the freezer. There is a pouch in the wrap into which you put the pack. The wrap Velcros snugly to your ankle and is easy to get onto your leg. Very happy with my purchase.

I have suffered from Plantar Fasciitis for a long time now and recently decided to start easing back into running. As I started running again I noticed that not only did my feet hurt as expected but I was having some pretty intense Achilles pain as well. I knew I needed to ice the area but did not have a convenient way to do so which prompted my amazon search and ultimately led me to this product.Initially I will say it looked like the pockets that hold the ice packs were way to small to fit them but if you just use a little force and position them at the right angle they will in fact fit. This has gotten much easier after just a couple uses. I haven't tried heating the pads yet but the ice packs work really well and have provided the sweet relief I have been looking for! Highly recommend for anyone who is active or just experiencing a lot of foot, ankle, or Achilles pain as this provides an easy way to relieve the pain while you lay back and watch Netflix (or Amazon Prime of course...can't leave them out on this page right?).

A great wrap, but it didn’t work for my wife’s heel pain.

I have been using this for both heat and ice on my Achilles. Holds heat and cold well. The heat/ice packs seem sturdy and well made. Most of the complaints I've read seem to be related to heating in a microwave. I use water heated on stovetop according to the instructions and have had no issues. The packs remain acceptably flexible when frozen. It is really convenient to be able wear this while walking, lying down, or at a desk without being tethered to an electrical outlet. The drawback is that the packs have to be reheated or frozen. As others have mentioned, if you have wide feet or thick calves this may be too small. it just barely fits around my size 12 mediums. It would be fairly easy to fashion a velcro "extender" if necessary.

The ankle brace is wonderful, what was disappointing were the colds paks. They did not provide the coldness necessary.I sent it to my daughter at school where she had minimal access to ice for her ankle. This was so she could still attend classes,but it didn't provide sufficient cold(ness) to give her the relief she needed. The gel pack container was too thick and she had toplace it in the brace pocket, so double material for the cold to have to seep through. I think it's made more for stay at home to recoup,care, which she couldn't do since she was attending a summer school program. So 5 stars for the brace, but the cold pak not so greatgiven our circumstances. The cold didn't last very long and she didn't have access to a deep freeze, freezer. Not very effective for whatwe needed. Perhaps for heat, it would be perfect. *Side note - soaking in Epson salt, reduced the swelling very quickly, almost immediately!Thank you . . .

These wraps are fantastic. Truly help with the pain.

I am sorry I didn't try this out when it came in, now I can't return it. The hot/cold pack are almost impossible to fit into the wrap. If your foot is larger then a size 9, lots of luck trying to get to warp around the ankle. I just barely closed it around my foot size 9/10 depending on the shoe. I have to be more careful in the future.

Ordered this item to help me with some Achilles tendinitis, but it is also helping me with chronic plantar fasciitis issues as well. Yes, my feet hate me. I've been giving them a tough time for 75 years, and it doesn't take much to piss them off these days. Love this product. Shipped quickly, reasonably priced, relieves stress on the whole foot & ankle (not just one area), and pretty easy to adjust. One recommendation is that you avoid walking around a lot on it because the ice bags can change shape and perhaps trip you up. Hasn't happened to me, but I can see where it could. The safe solution is to carry the ice pack by hand to wherever you are sitting or laying, then put in on and stay put. When it's time to move, take it off. (helpful hint - you can always put it on again when you arrive at your next location, or maybe it's time to put it back in the freezer.) Totally Genius move, I know.
