Overall a great pan at the price
After reading the other reviews I wanted to address the previous issues mentioned. Yes the bottom is some what rounded, but one has to remember this pan is hand hammered out of a single sheet of copper. It is designed to be used on traditional burner not a glass or flat cook top. Pan is exceptionally well made and would cost twice as much if it made in the U.S. Conducts heat well and evenly. Overall a great pan at the price.

Pot was beautiful but defective
Pot was beautiful but defective. The bottom was not flat and so it rocked when placed on a flat surface -- i.e. my stovetop. Since this is a pot for cooking pork in hot oil and water it cannot be safely used for its designated purpose. Moreover, if you wanted to use it for something else, it would still need to be flat on the bottom. Very disappointed.

Copper is thicker on the bottom. 8lb tub of lard is perfect for the size... enough to cook 2 pork butts.. exactly what I was looking for
