These little guys are AWESOME! Made of great quality, come in a plastic set, and really really work! I mostly use these for my mixed drinks instead of things like whiskey, but they absolutely work. I am not the world's fastest drinker, as I often times can get distracted. This means that normally my ice will melt and I now have a watered down rum and coke. THESE ARE SO COOL!(Pun totally intended)My husband and I have a thing for unique ice cubes. We have spheres, skulls with hats, Mario characters, and even Doctor Who ice cube molds. We don't even own a regular ice cube tray! The problem with all these unique trays, however, is that they're pretty much always made from silicone. That means they always spill when you carry them, full of water, to the freezer. We needed an ice cube that was still unique, but that wouldn't turn my kitchen into a slip and slide. These Whisky Stones are perfect! They look amazing, and definitely stand out in a glass of scotch. I was worried about them warming too quickly, but as your can see from the pictures, they only warmed by about 5 degrees in over an hour! My TARDIS ice cubes definitely can't do that! My husband found the tiny tongs a little hard to handle when they're cold from sitting in the car in the freezer while the cubes chilled, but it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. Also the lid completely shattered when they accidentally fell out of the freezer once, but the base that actually holds the cubes was still perfectly in tact, so again not a deal breaker. I'm just glad to have a unique, cool looking ice cube that keeps or drinks cool! Definitely will be recommending this to my friends!

Great product that looks good, and works well. The stainless look is sleek and classy. We are avid wine drinkers and I like that I can throw these in my whites or rose for a quick chill without watering it down. I also tested these in whiskey, same concept of chilling my drink without diluting a good quality scotch.The plastic tray and tongs are an excellent touch, tray is perfect for the freezer.I did remove one star for the packaging. There was clear packing tape on the box, as you can see in the photos. For personal use this is okay, but I would not want to gift this in it's current state. The box IS heavy, but in my opinion, the tape looks sloppy and cheapens the look of a nice product. Packaging is very important, and this is a quality product that would make an excellent gift for any wine or spirits drinker.

I don’t really care for whiskey, but I have several friends that do, and I thought this would be a nice option for them to have when they come to visit. And let’s face it, sometimes when I buy a bottle of white wine, it’s not cold by the time I come home. It would be nice to have a way to cool my wine down without watering it down.I’ve used stone whiskey stones before, but I always questioned the sanitary properties of stone. I don’t know, maybe I’m a little bit paranoid, but I really prefer the idea of an absolutely non-porous surface in my drink. These “stones” are made from food grade stainless steel, which is non-porous and makes me feel more comfortable about cleaning them for future use.I like that this set comes with a tray you can store the stones in, in the freezer. The stones I used before didn’t, and I had to co-opt a freezer-safe container from elsewhere in the kitchen to store them in the freezer. The tray holds all of these stones, the bonus tongs (which I’m still not sure belong in the freezer, but they fit in the tray so we’ll see how annoyed I get after a while of frozen tongs), and clips closed so I won’t have “stones” rolling around in my freezer.I’m really happy with this purchase, and I definitely recommend them as a gift for friends… Or for yourself!

These work just as advertised. It took three cubes in a standard highball glass, and delivered cold without diluting the flavor of my favorite Scotch. (Yes, I know, the purist will say I should be drinking Scotch neat at room temperature).I washed them as directed, set half to chill, half to cool to room temperature. Took a few sips neat, added the room temperature cubes, checked the flavor and there was no change. Great! Replaced the cubes with the chilled ones, temperature dropped nicely and flavor came through undiluted.I recommend these to anyone that wants to chill a drink without diluting the flavor as melting ice cubes would. They will not keep the drink chilled as long, but the trade off is worth avoiding a "longer" period of increasingly diluted watery drink.

I bought these as a gift for my brother, but they didn't make it that far because my husband snatched them up. We tried them out in several drinks and they did indeed keep our drinks chilled! We will be keeping these and ordering more for my brother!These are great! They come with a plastic tray to keep them nice and neat and they come with a set of tongs. We are talking ICE cold. No watering down your drink just continued chilling until you finish. Perfect with your favorite liquor!
