Verrrrry cool present from my Wife. Unexpected. When I opened the Box I was Shocked that it was from Amazon. I've never bought a guitar online or one that I didn't play first. This really surprised me, after a set up (neck, action, pickup height and intonation adjustments) its actually a really NICE Guitar. Before the set up, unplayable. E, A & D saddles needed to be turned around for intonation to be possible. I'd never compare it to a my old Gibson. However, Compared to other guitars I've played in Sam Ash, Guitar Center and local shops near me, this Guitar is definitely more than worth the selling price. I'd say its comparable to at least a new $400 guitar. The Grover tuners look great and they work well. It stays in tune better than my OLD Gibson SG ever did. Pots are smooth and not scratchy. Fret work, fret board, Nice after a cleaning and oiling. Pickup switch and output jack could be better. Over all, IMO, this is a GREAT Guitar for the price. I added a pick guard and silver/black control knobs. Was planning to upgrade to some blk Wilkinson hardware (bridge and saddle) new pickups and locking tuners, but its not necessary. The Guitar looks Great the way it is, stays in tune and the pickups are GOOD. I'm going to keep it the way it is for now. I definitely recommend this Guitar for a beginner who knows someone who can do a set up. If I was a beginner I wouldn't know what to do with this when I fist opened the box. I hated my 1st guitar, it buzzed, when it was in tune chords would be out of tune, it NEVER stayed in tune, etc... Very discouraging. Now I know whats up with that stuff and its easily fixable. A beginner may not know what to do. Beginners should, I think, go to a guitar store for their 1st Guitar. One that is already set up or pay someone to set THIS up. Its worth paying for a set up for this guitar. So, I'm Not comparing this to a Gibson. For the price, the quality, sound, feel and over all everything, I give it 4.5 stars for quality/price. Pick guard- KAISH Black 3 Ply LP Guitar Pickguard with Black Bracket for Epi Les Paul Control knobs - Musiclily Pro Metric Size 18 Spline Electric Guitar Speed Knobs for Epiphone Les Paul SG Asia Import Guitar Bass Split Shaft Pots, Chrome. Update--- Over one year later, this is still my go to. I have other Guitars I've paid MUCH more for (Gibson LP, BC Rich, Jackson, Ibanez). This one is the one I'll always have out and play 1st. Changing things and updating a guitar is something I do to them all, even the Gibson, so its modified and will continue to be, like all the rest. I Still recommend and will probably get another one soon. All new wiring, switch, jack and Alnico 2 pickups. Original tuning pegs. Update 2 - 6/24/25 Still the guitar I keep next to me in the livingroom. Annnnd, I got the Matte Black. Blacked everything out and gutted it. New Pots, wires, capacitor, switch, tuners, etc... Wasn't necessary, just wanted to. Update 3 - 11/25 - Matte black is my #1. Gutted it again and installed the ZW EMG kit. Very Good guitar. Love em' both. I still recommend them.

I just recieved this guitar (01/03/2018) and kudos to fast shipping. Unfortunately that is all the good that I can say about Amazon. It was shipped in a single guitar box (oem) and got damaged in shipping. Amazon's shipping unit definitely does NOT know how to pack and ship guitars. The selector switch protruded through the box and got broken off. The stop-bar tail piece and bridge were actually damaged because the box had something heavy thrown on top of it and it bent the bridge out of alignment. It must have been really heavy because it actually punched through the thin foam wrap that the manufacture wrapped the guitar in. I assume it's the trade-off for fast shipping from Amazon. You don't get quality/care for your items. As for the guitar itself? I really wanted to fall in love with this guitar. I love the way it looks. The finish was not perfect (swirl marks, etc.,...) but it looked good. There were several manufacturing issues that would have needed resolving but I simply chose to return the guitar due to the shipping damage. #1: The G-string tuning peg was loose. #2: The string grooves in the plastic nut had been filed too deeply on the low E groove that the guitar would not tune to pitch on the low E string due to fret buzz on the first fret. The nut looked like you could stack two strings in the groove. :-( #3: The truss rod was too tight (neck back bowed). #4: Numerous frets (3, 8, 14) were too high which would result in future fret work. #5: The electronic cavities in the back looked like they were chiseled by hand. Simply hideous, but no one ever sees the back, I guess. #6: The bridge pickup volume knob (potentiometer) did not protrude far enough through the front of the guitar. The knob would fall off if you attempted to adjust the volume. It was rubbing the finish and left marks on it. #7: The front strap bobbin was too high up on the curvature of the guitar. My strap would not stay on it. #8: The tuners had too much play in them. The guitar wouldn't stay in tune. They had a lot of space between the tighten/loosen function. Probably a 10-1 ratio. #9: The bridge was not mounted/centered correctly for a true LP style 24.75 scale setup. It was canted almost a full .25 inches from low to high E. #10: ..............you get the idea here? The feel of the neck was great (C-shaped, wide, jumbo frets) and the binding was perfect. I really liked the neck/head-stock. The weight of the guitar was on par with a Gibby/Epi Studio unit and balanced well (when my strap stayed on the bobbin). The pups sounded bright and did not hum at all. Overall, I can honestly say that I wanted to fall in love with this guitar, The finish was great. The theme was great. I wanted to hang it on the wall and move on but the issue with the bridge was the deciding factor to return the guitar. It would require too much work to remount the bridge for a correct scale length and get perfect intonation. I could fix the tuner, replace the nut, set the action, add new strings, polish the finish, etc.,......but the bridge work isn't worth the time on this cheap unit. Good luck to anyone buying this unit. I hope your's doesn't get destroyed in the shipping process. It's a PITA to have to deal with online purchasing. A flip of the coin on almost every purchase when it comes to shipping. FWIW! These guitars are from a reseller in KY from sourced units. They are definitely NOT custom guitars. The finish is a laminate with clear coat on top............they are imported, cheap, China knock-offs. PEACE!

Where do I start . I have been playing guitar for over forty years and have several guitars in my possession. I did read all the reviews regarding this guitar. They all seem to be good. After seeing and playing this guitar for the first time. I can honestly say that this guitar is not only good, it is great. I realize this is not your high-end. Equipment, however, right out of the box after just tuning this guitars intonation was spot on. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone wanting to add to their collection or for someone that is just starting to play guitar. Note that this guitar is not that large.39 inches. Could be an issue for someone large in stature. Dan

Received guitar, let it sit the mandatory 24 hours boxed to climatize. Upon opening, packaging was great. When unwrapped discovered the neck pick up was dropped. Rest of guitar was Very Nice, looked Great. Loosened the strings up to access the neck pick up. It looked great, was just not attached. Reinstalled, tuned up. Guitar is Super! Sounds great, holding tune, Great sustain. Love my new American Flag Leo Jaymz, Thank You Leo!
