This tray is very useful. Its big and all the components and lid fit perfectly. No issues. Kids love playing with it. Useful for different activities. Value for money. Easy to clean. Good quality. Thick. Has already fallen and still intact.

Expensive, yes on the higher side of many a tuff tray ensemble that I have been considering for some time, but I am really pleased with this tray now it is here. It is big, and that is a good thing, loads of space for loads of stuff in those compartments. Versatile, absolutely. Did our first (dry) tray yesterday for today, a bug themed tray, with hessian, ribbons, raffia, sticks, leaves, and all sorts of bits, along with Inspires funnels and sieve/bowl set and he loved this! He is not quire 2.5 years old and played for just over half an hour. He literally sat, investigating, touching, moving from compartments, sieving, scooping. This is going to be much loved. We got the cards to go with this and I found them inspirational. Like I said, expensive, yes on an initial outlay. But weigh that against times used over the years abs suddenly it's not so expensive after all. And I had fun too! One happy nanny and grandson combo indeed! Update - just had time to read the sensory play ebook which is packed full of fabulous information which just enhances the whole play experience. this is accessed via a QR code on an insert in the box. Today I had an Easter Play tray ideas email, just endless ideas that in all honesty, I would not be coming up with. Second update - can I rate this tray to OUTSTANDING because it simply is. This morning we (and kitty) have all sat for 50 minutes, yes 50 whole minutes, playing in this tray with big beads, sea animals, a bit of oobleck and shaving foam, some flowers from a hawaiian garland and the scoops, tweesers and pots. Honestly, we have had such a huge amount of fun and the prep of it was minimal. I had cooked some spaghetti and coloured it too, but overcooked it and it was just sticky - lesson learnt that less is deffo more! This is one incredible learning resource that I know is going to grow with him. When I took it out today, he was jumping for joy, waited for the splat mat to go down and then sat and just went oooh as soon as I took the lid off, then dove straight in. It is such a simple concept but works brilliantly.

This tray is a very good choice for parents or educators who want a high-quality, dedicated space for sensory/messy play, who care about design, ease of cleaning, flexibility, and containment of mess. Especially for toddlers/preschoolers, this could be a strong investment. On the other hand, if you are very budget-conscious, or you anticipate extremely heavy-duty outdoor use, or want the absolute biggest tray possible for multiple children at once, you might consider simpler alternatives and compare cost vs benefit.

We absolutely love this tray!! I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old. I’ve been wanting this tray for over a year and decided now was the best time to purchase, as it will be perfect for both kids growing up. My baby is now sitting and exploring colours and textures, and this has been great to put different things in for him to go through and play with. My oldest loves this for fun activities. We have used sand, rice and papers etc. Using this for things such as “find objects in the correct colours” and also using kinetic sand to make ice creams (pictured). We’ve had hours of play from this every day, and not even had it for a week yet!! The quality is outstanding, the durability is amazing and it washes so, so well. It’s extremely sturdy, and the none slip pads on both parts is perfect for water play too.

I had been wanting to get the tray for a while. Now it is here I'm so excited. I love the multiple functions of it. How the lid becomes a shallow try, a board for rolling and cutting play doh or craft making and even a whiteboard. The main tray is lovely and deep, perfect for filling with all sorts of messy fun whilst being deep enough to ensure it won't just spill out as soon as their little hands go in. The compartments are fantastic and have so many uses to add in education, snacks, messy play, small world, crafting and much more. The ebook is full of fun creative ideas and recipes for all ages as is their Instagram page so give them a follow. It came with easy to follow cleaning and care advice. This tray will be used for years with endless fun possibilities. This one is for my daughter at home but I could definitely see them in my classroom too! Completely worth every penny.

We have only used the tray a couple of times and have found the lid no longer fits properly and I can’t find anywhere to get in touch to see about getting a replacement. Was a Christmas gift for my little one and it is perfect for sensory play and for storing props inbetween use just gutted the quality hasn’t lasted much use

Ever since I discovered sensory play and small world play for myself on Instagram, I have been looking for the right play tray for a long time - it should be easy to clean, look good and offer many possibilities. Then, by chance, I came across the Play Tray by Inspiremyplay and was immediately thrilled. It took a while until I could order it (I come from the EU and ordering was only possible via Amazon). It was delivered very quickly and then we could get started. The Play Tray is suitable for babies/toddlers, but also for older children. Whether playing with dry materials, with plasticine, with Kinetic Sand or with wet materials - there is no limit to the creativity and fun. The trays are super suitable for a play invitation with many different materials. We have already 'brewed' a magic potion in them. I still have many ideas and am looking forward to implementing each of them. Cleaning is also super quick and easy. I recommend it over a large sink or in the shower/bathtub.

There are so many ways you can use this. I love that all elements can have multiple uses to it. So far no stains from using food colouring and paint in it.

Eine wirklich tolle Spielschale, die meine Tochter (4) jetzt schon über Alles liebt und die für stundenlange Beschäftigung sorgt. Die Größe ist Klasse, sodass genug Platz ist um sich kreativ austoben zu können und nichts/ wenig daneben geht. Die Möglichkeiten für die Nutzung sind dabei unendlich. Zu der Bestellung gibt es auf der Rückseite vom Karton einen QR Code mit einem kostenlosen und umfangreichen PDF Handbuch zu den verschiedensten Spielideen als Anregung. Der Rand hat auch für die Nutzung mit Flüssigkeiten oder zum Matschen die perfekte Höhe. Die Schale ist stabil und hat einen dichten Deckel, was ich sehr nützlich finde. Der Deckel der gleichzeitig auch ein flaches Tablett ist hat wie die Schale gummierte Stellflächen, sodass nichts verrutscht. Gerade zur kalten Jahreszeit erweist sich die Schale als sehr nützlich als indoor Matschküche ohne, dass das halbe Bad dabei unter Wasser gesetzt wird ;). Beim Wasserspiel legen wir einfach noch eine Plastiktischdecke unter. Aber auch im Sommer ist es ein tolles Spielzeug für drinnen oder draußen. Natürlich ist das ein stolzer Preis für eine Plastikschale, aber ich habe lange gesucht etwas Ähnliches zu finden in der Größe und dann noch mit einem dichten passenden Deckel, was auch stabil genug ist und wo der Rand hoch genug ist und habe mir dabei sehr schwer getan. Auch die Runde Form war mir sehr wichtig, weil es so super auf unseren Couchtisch passt. Wem eine runde Form oder ein Deckel nicht so wichtig sind, der wird auch wo anders günstiger fündig! Für uns passt diese Schale jedoch perfekt und ist daher den Preis wert! Die einzige Verbesserung, die ich mir vom Hersteller zukünftig wünschen würde, wäre, dass der Deckel etwas durchscheinender wäre, sodass man ihn als Leuchtunterlage nutzen könnte für beispielsweise Sandmalen oder ähnliches, was sich bei der Deckelform wirklich anbieten würde. Man kann zwar kleine LED Lampen unten in die Schale legen, aber durch den Deckel leuchtet es dann leider nur noch sehr schwach. Alles in Allem sind wir wirklich froh mit diesem Artikel und das Langeweile-Problem hat endlich ein Ende! :) Ich kann diese Schale nur wärmstens empfehlen.
