These were bought to replace some older wooden chopsticks that we bought years ago. They have a nice weight to them, and feel comfortable when using. The etching allows them to grip food perfectly, but are still easy to clean. These would make a great gift for someone as they come in a nice box, and there is an attractive pattern etched into the chopsticks themselves.

Stunning chopsticks. They are shiny, and feel like good material. They are nice and long, they have some weight to them but nothing too heavy. Great value, definitely recommend these. Using them with dinner tonight ☺️

First: KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING! These are Korean chopsticks and they are beautifully made. They're stainless steel, can be easily cleaned and, unless you trying to cook with them or handle things off open fire, I have not noticed them to transfer heat. However, if this is your first pair of chopsticks or you think it will be easy, you are mistaken. It took me a good two weeks of practice to get them to work somewhat decently. The plus side is I went on to handle Chinese and Japanese chopsticks after this and it was a walk in the park. Long story short: they're stainless, they're pretty and they're hard to master unless you are either seasoned or have a lot of will to persevere.

I ended up returning these but not because of the quality or anything like that. They are stunning in a gorgeous box and the detail on the ends of them is so nice. Metal chopsticks are the most widely used in Korea and are a bit of a personal preference. I love Korean food. I’d not tried metal ones before but thought I’d give them a try. I found that the food would slide off easier than wooden or plastic chopsticks. Harder to keep hold of. Rice for example is trickier with them. (It’s an art to be able to eat rice with chopsticks!) I’ve used chopsticks since I was a child and spent time in different Asian countries and really prefer using them over cutlery. I love Chinese and Korean food and using chopsticks means you eat slower so great for the digestion. I found things slid off these too much and also the feel and texture in my mouth if the metal wasn’t for me, but millions of people love metal ones. That’s the only reason I returned them as they are absolutely stunning. They have a solid weight to them too. So if you like/want metal ones I’d definitely recommend this brand. I bought some nice non-BPA plastic style ones after these which are my preference. But it’s very much a personal choice.
