Better than Google Nest
UPDATED - I've worked in tech support for years. So I'm familiar with configuring WIFI routers. We had 2 Google WIFI nest systems and they were great. Really. No complaints. However a family member wanted nested WIFI and as family discussions go ours was offered up and we purchased a replacement. Remember I had 2 Google WIFI setups in 2 different locations and they worked great. I purchased the ORBI AX4200 Triband WIFI6 2pack (Refreshed) and honestly the only reason I did is I wanted to try the WIFI 6 and at the refreshed price I didn't have much to lose. I downloaded the app to my phone and followed the instructions and the 1st unit came online in a few minutes. I changed the SSID name and made a few personal selections for the network and ran my first speed test. BAM! Like that I had almost doubled my speed within my WIFI network. Again I have little to say bad about google nest wifi. But with this ORBI system (we have 800 mbs service) I jumped from at best 200mbs to over 400 mbs and sometimes close to 500 mbs WIFI signal. Now some of you reading the review might say "well that's not that impressive" but remember I went from 3 nested devices to (at this point only 1 device) and I had service on the 2nd floor, the 1st floor and even in the basement. To me that was impressive. So then I went and added the second device (remember I ordered the 2 pak) the device setup in a couple of minutes through the app and I put it on the same floor as the 1st one, I just put it at the back of the house and now we're getting reliable 400mb bandwidth by WIFI everywhere ... yes even in the basement and the house is a 100 year old house, no open concept design in this place. There are walls everywhere. Definitely improves the Zoom calls all day when working from home.Bottom line : Very impressive, Fast, easy to setup, worth the money, No dead spots anywhere. Now I want to justify to my wife putting this system in the 2nd location. It's that good.UPDATE: I have bought another 2 pack (refreshed) and put them in my second location. Both homes have 1000 mb service. The performance and reliability has been stellar no issues whatsoever. I will note for if you are considering this as a possibility for your home … please be aware that the guest network that you can configure along side your main network will not be as fast. We get 500 mb most all the time over Wi-Fi on our main network but the guest network will only be about 100mb. Which is fine for my friends who stop by and want to connect to Wi-Fi while visiting. But it is something worth mentioning. I am very satisfied with both my purchases and I am not some paid Amazon reviewer. (Unless you’re offering me a job) LOL ...UPDATE Again - I was incorrect that the guest network was limited to 100mb having switched network carriers the guest network now is over 400 mb. So please ignore my earlier comment. Still Loving our ORBI

Upgraded wifi signal in home
The installation was straight forward, also I like the fact Netgear gives you the ability to use an app or a web interface to configure the router and satellite. I replaced an older eero mesh wifi kit and this Orbi AX4200 has significantly increased the coverage and the wifi bandwidth in my home. Would highly recommend if you have not upgraded your home router or mesh wifi system in a while.

Problem solved
Update:It’s been a few months now, and I have had zero issues with the system. I upgraded service to Gig speed and am getting about 949 at the router. Wireless devices getting up to 650-750 depending. Well worth the cost. Get the refurbished.Solved my problem. I was replacing a NightHawk router that I've had for about 5 years. It should be able to produce Megabit speeds, but found that even at the HDMI ports it wasn't putting out more than 60Mbps. I have 200 Mbps service and felt something was wrong. After tinkering, and nothing getting better, I decided to replace my router. I had been looking at mesh systems and the reviews are extremely mixed.I decided to trust my gut and figure most people aren't that technical and I am. So, bought the Orbi refurbished, because, why not tempt fate? My house is only 2500 sq ft or so, so I got the router and 1 satellite. Well, I'm glad I did tempt fate. Prior to install I was getting about 10-14 Mbps on 2.5ghz and about 60 on 5ghz. Now I'm at 30 on 2.4ghz and 280 on 5ghz. Yes, I'm getting more than I pay for on 5ghz! I only have a few things left on 2.4, so I can live with this.It did take a couple times to get the orbi connected to the app. Just repeat the cycle until it works. I think it connected on my 3rd try, and then the firmware updated. From then on, it's all been excellent. I can peg connection in every room of my home now.

Working good so far.
Had a little hiccup during set up, did a factory reset and started from scratch and it worked fine. had another issue 2nd day of use but Netgear support was fantastic help on that end. it was a satellite connection issue. they have been working great in my home and have extended my range drastically. Will update this review in a few months after longer use.
