So easy
I replaced this as a maintenance item before the old one failed, but this one has been working great for the last month. Replacing these on your own every few years could save you hundreds of dollars in service calls. It's literally one screw.

Working so far!
The original flame sensor in my Trane XR80 was both dirty and pitted in several places, so I replaced it with this new one. YT videos showed me how to install it; thankfully the screw is placed perfectly to ensure you install it correctly (with the sensor in the flame-stream). I changed this at same time I removed and cleaned the burners, which are still so rusted I'll have to replace them next.
