The description of the box (damaged, but all parts intact) was very accurate. I love using the drying rack! It's pressure mounted to the deck railing. I use a little bungie cord -- NOT included in the product description or with the production -- to keep the drying rack folded/compact when it's not in use. In the reviews, someone had made a comment/suggestion that you use something to keep the drying rack closed when not in use. AGREED. I use the little bungie cord. Pretty much anything could work. In the reviews, people had commented that the drying rack rusted quickly. I have had the drying rack outside, exposed to snow, ice, sleet/hail, rain, high temps (90 F) and low temps (30's) for a few weeks. So far, the drying rack shows no signs of rust. Under questions, there was a concern about how sturdy it is. I've had lots of heavy things on it and had the rack full. There has been no problems with the drying rack being fragile. I live in an area with high winds. There has been no problems with it. (It's pressure mounted and I do check the mountings every few weeks to ensure it's still snug against the railing.) I first found this product on Wayfair.com and put it in my shopping cart. The next day when I went to purchase it (about 15 hours later) the price had gone up. Ugh. It stayed at the higher price for the next few weeks. I looked for the drying rack on other websites. I am VERY happy with this purchase. I would easily, gladly purchase another one when I have the funds. Thank you Seller!

I use this on my deck . So far I have had it out 2 years and in the winter and it has not rusted. Excellent for decks.

This item arrived early, it is lightweight, sturdy. Only thing is you need larger pegs to pin the clothing than you do for a regular clothes line

Nice and compact for drying swimsuits but a little narrow for pool towels. Nice addition to the Rv.

This model has been improved!! I live in an RV just over the dunes from the ocean, and I've used SmartDryer predecessors to this model for years. Because of the constant salt air, the dryer arms started to rust within the first couple of months, and I had to replace it every other year. Last year it wasn't available, and I had a hard time with poor substitutes. This year it's not only back, it's better! The supports are all coated with some kind of smooth enamel-type material, and the rods easily lift off the back. As soon as I'm done drying my clothes, I remove the rods and put them away. Even after several months, there's no sign of rust at all! I'm very pleased!!

Takes very little space on the deck and other options to mount it make it a great buy. Glad I got the large one and it can take a lot of clothes, one of our washing machine loads. Seems to be well made and we've used it 5 times already. Note that wooden clothes pins are a little small for the large diameter bars, so had to buy some plastic ones and they work great.

Like the ease of use - serves our purpose - you may want the bigger one

Purchased for installation in our laundry room. Rails appear flimsy yet are strong enough for bed linens. Would be nice if this company offered an indoor version.... Didn't require the large outdoor bracket ( so a little wasteful there).

A lot of campgrounds do not allow close lines. But since this is attached to our ladder, there is no issue. It works great. Easy to set up and tear down on travel days. Love it.
