I'm 6'1" and 202lbs. would an xl be form fitting? i don't want it too baggy.

Is there a heavier weight mens fleece full zip black jacket other than 51598-990?

Not sure if heavier; but this H/H item is extremely warm; you can wear just it, a shirt and T, and easily feel warm to at freezing; if wind or colder you will need another layer; I use two; a liner from a ski jacket; and this tighter dir H/H; though this winter was above average; GL

The sleeves on the HellyHansen fleece jacket seem to be tapered to an extreme -- do purchasers find this uncomfortable?

I'm 6'4" and HH customer from way back. Every piece of apparel from them are high quality and function fit. This fleece isn't as "form fitting" as it appears so my answer is: No. It is not uncomfortable. Quite the opposite. This fleece is very comfortable and warm.
