Well made insulation piercing test leads by EZ Hook that are made in the USA
The insulation piercing test leads by EZ Hook are made in the USA. The EZ Hook leads are expensive, but I feel that these are on par with other expensive leads by Fluke. The spring has a good amount of tension to assist in piercing thicker insulated wires that will require some liquid electrical tape to reseal. The probes have a good length, about 6 inches, to work in a crowded wire loom. I recommend these if your looking for a well made quality product made in America.5 stars

Expensive
I have wanted to purchase a set of these probes for a long time so when I had the chance recently to try them out, I jumped on it. They seem to work better with silicone wires in the 16 gauge to 28 gauge range, but I'm sure they will work with harder plastic sleeving as well. My only complaint is $59 seems like a lot for what you are getting.

nice for testing without having to back probe
these are handy for testing circuits without having to back probe connectors. only makes a small pin hole in wire that i just fill with a drop of super glue
