A few thoughts about this book.
When I first saw this book on Amazon, I thought, "There is no way, you can write so much about Google Analytics. It's just not that complicated." I also had some doubts because it had only a couple of reviews, but then I "looked inside" (Thanks, Amazon!) and was quite impressed with the content. So, I bought the book. Here are some things to note for perspective buyers that will hopefully make your decision process easier:- It has a very detailed explanation of all Analytics' features. I could have never thought that a book about Google Analytics can be that big, but when you read the content, it makes perfect sense. It is just a very thorough presentation of information.- The language is quite simple. I mean, it can be a little bit technical for the new users, but it a great way to learn. For more experienced users, it is flawless. I truly enjoy the style.- Presentation. I can see how much effort the authors made to make this book complete. High-quality content is mixed with colorful graphs, tables, and charts, as well as "notes" in prominent blue boxes, "warnings" in red boxes, and "terminology" in orange. There are Guest Spots where experts and field leaders give practical tips and advice. Wait, there is more. Every chapter ends with "Key Takeaways" (i.e. the summary of each chapter) with bold bullet points and a brief description of each one, as well as very practical "Actions and Exercises".- I bought a hardcover book and the drawback to this option is, of course, the fact that you can't click the links, and there are a few of them in the book. To me, it didn't matter much.I like reading books related to my professional career; not every book manages to meet the expectations, let alone exceed them. This book did. Not only it is full of relevant information, it is also very well presented and leaves a great impression. I am happy to add it to my collection.

Chock Full of Info
The book is not an easy read, but has a ton of great material, with far more available at the complementary website. Filled with code snippets, interviews and how-to’s, the book tries to cover a lot of landscape - which is a negative on readability but a plus as a mid-level resource.

Great Guide - Perfect for Agency Bookshelf
Enjoying the book. Can be read as a manual to learn some advanced techniques. Can also be used as a department reference guide. The graphics and use of color is very dynamic and paper quality is excellent. Great binding. I have several years of Google Analytics experience and so a quick resource for tools that I don't use all the time is very handy.

Great layout, like a textbook
Love the way this is written like a text book with "as seen in t.4" and all but it wouldn't matter if you could pry my skull open and inject bits if these pages into my brain - I just dont get Google Analytics beyond the basics. And frankly, I dont care. If you don't know what you are doing on the front end setting up your campaign, it doesnt matter anyway. Events and triggers and tags, oh my god kill me now(Don't tell my boss)

Must read if you want a succes full internet business
Really good book to read how Google Analytics works. Everyone how has a business depending on internet this is a must read. If you don't analyze where you leads and clients are coming from and which marketing operations are succesfull and where your conversions come from, how can you expect to understand what your website is doing? Good book, clearly explained step by step.

Very good for beginners
A lot of basic information. It's ideal for beginners, but might be too easy for intermediate web analysts.
