Bought this actually for a 10 year old learning his states and capitals. It was a tactile way to learn instead of just looking at a paper and memorizing. Within 1 week, he had memorized 42 states and their location.This is a great study tool! Next round of learning will be capitals, but I'm positive he's going to ace his test!This puzzle also went through a testing of a 16 month old who loves to break everything apart. It holds up well so the pieces don't bend, but of course they are gonna come apart with that kind of tenacity.

I didn't realize the puzzle didn't have specific shapes to fit the puzzle pieces in so was a little more difficult for a younger toddler to do, but with that being said my 4 yr Granddaughter was able to put it all together with a little help and instantly wanted to tear it up and do again! The puzzle is very vibrant with a picture on each state of what that state is famous for. We had a lot of fun and learned along the way. Very sturdy pieces.

First puzzle had pieces that didn’t fit well together.We applied for a return/refund and purchased another so my grandson had one the day he expected it.He loves it!

Wonderful way to teach the 5 and 7 year old grandchildren about the placement of states. One or 2 of the states were bent. Not the end of the world. We figured it out. They had fun. That’s allThat matters.

Great puzzle

My students really enjoyed putting this together! I gave each of them several pieces and we worked on it as a class without them seeing the photo on the box. They did an amazing job collaborating!

If I went by the first puzzle I got in the mail, this review would have been one star. The box was sealed and in perfect order, but the pieces inside were a different story - a number of them were creased and bent, and one was actually torn in two. But the replacement puzzle I got was perfect and I would have given it five stars. It is a bit challenging for my three and a half year old grandson - he definitely needs some help in placing the inside states (the outside of the puzzle is traditional puzzle pieces that hold together, the states nest next to each other). But he definitely enjoys it, and I can see that this is a great way to learn the names and the concept that our country is made of different states.
