As it is described
The product is as shown in the images. Works just as expected. Although I dislike how the USB-A connector and the micro-B connector are flipped opposite along the wire when straightened. If I plug in the USB-A connector in the up position, the the wire will raise because I also plugged in the micro-B connector in the up position. I don't get why many connectors nowadays are always flipped but the product still works as needed.

As promised
Nice tight fit without all the extra cord. I would have rated it 5 stars but I actually needed a micro usb to a micro usb and no one makes one. I had to buy an additional adapter.

Great usb to usb cable
The size comes in handy because the tower is on the floor at work. I can charge my phone easily without bending down to plug it in.

Nook Color Charging Cable replacement
well, like many, many others, my Nook Color charging cable gave out and I needed a replacement. After searching for a replacement I found that the Barnes and Noble replacement cable had very low reviews. Also, I had noticed from the beginning, that my original cable seemed to have a rather loose feel when connected to my Nook. I have the AFN on my Nook Color and I have one that will not boot to Android unless it is plugged in. I almost always run it in the Android mode, and one morning I discovered that it was not on the Android. When I tried to reboot it, even tho it was plugged in, it would not boot to Android. After inspecting connections I discovered green corrosion on the Nook end of the charging cable; indicative of a loose connection. Apparently the Nook could still charge (tho somewhat slower rate I am sure, than normal), but it was losing enough power drop thru the poor connection that it would not boot to Android. I tried to clean up the original connector, but it never got good enough to boot into Android, and still, there was that sloppy feel to it. Like mentioned before, the B & N replacement cables have gotten very poor reviews, so I looked deeper. When I use my Nook in bed or sitting, with the charging cable plugged into it, the cable is bent oddly against me because it comes out the bottom of the Nook, and so it becomes cramped around at a bad angle, I am sure, further stressing the connection at the Nook that isn't very tight anyway. I came across this item and found that with the angled end, it relieves the stress at the back of the connection, actually tends to push the connector into the device. I got the "Left-hand angle" because my power source for the cord is to the left of me, but you can choose which side you want it to angle to, and there are also length choices. This has a very good tight connection to my Nook, which is imperative for best electrical properties. I think this is a great product and something Barnes and Noble should look into for their own betterment. The only drawback is that, of course, it does not have that nice "N" lit up showing you that it is charging/charged. But, as soon as you start your Nook or look at it, you can determine that anyway. Again, I have the Nook Color tablet, so not sure what other Nooks this may fit, as I have read that all the cables for Nooks are not the same.UPDATE: Just a note as to the longevity of this cable; I have been using this for a year now and am still very satisfied with it. I have had no problems with it.

Great cable so far
Just got this cable a couple days ago and only tried it out a couple of times, but so far, so good. Background: This is for my car. I have my radar detector plugged into the normal cigarette lighter adapter on the dash, so I used the spare connector in the center console for a 3-way splitter for my charger and my girlfriend's iPhone charger (USB that was plugged into a USB port on a Motorola charger that she had). My charger was a stock Motorola car charger with the coiled cable, and it was constantly pulling on my power connector for my phone, and I finally got around to looking for an ordering a straight cable. That being said, this is what I found for a USB to microUSB cable. I bought the 6-ft cable, which has a VERY thin cord on it. 6-ft may be a bit of overkill, but it allows me some range of motion if I'm checking email in the parking lot, etc. Also, the right-angle connector at the top of my phone is extremely helpful when it comes to not hitting the cable with my shifter when I put the car into drive, if the phone is in the cupholder (where it will reside until I find a decent dash mount for it). Also, if I can mount it on the dash, the 6-ft cable should work out very well.I also purchased this fast-charge, dual-USB adapter that seems to work very well. New Trent Arcadia Rapiduo (1PC) 10W 5V/2A Dual Port high-speed USB car charger w/ Free Full Speed Micro-USB Charging Cable (IMP80C) I have yet to test out the dual-USB adapter to see how fast it charges my phone, but hopefully I'll be able to put that in the review of that part later on. Also, I didn't even read the description carefully enough, and this came with a retractable USB to microUSB charging cable. It's interesting, but probably not something I would use.I was worried, initially, about buying any kind of charger, since the car charger I had before was being very temperamental about whether or not it was going to actually charge my phone, depending on how much pressure was on it. This cord, however, seems to work every time. So, so far, so good. Connections feel solid, the cable is the length that I want it, and, though thin, the cable feels rigid. I'm a little concerned that I may kink it, or damage it somehow if I'm not careful, but so far it is working great.Should I encounter any issues with it, I'll be sure to update this post.
