Baby doesn't scream anymore
For whatever reason, my baby prefers this brush for washingbhis hair instead of using my hands and fingers. He used to start crying when I washed his hair even though I was careful not to get anything in his eyes. Now it's like he doesn't even notice. I start with the brush side, massaging shampoo into his hair. Then I flip it over and use the sponge side filled with water to rinse the shampoo out. It gives me good control over where the water goes.

Better than a loofah but still itchy
Great for dogs, okay for peopleFOR PEOPLE:I'm 23 and I've had sensory issues with feeling SUPER itchy while/after showering since I was a little kid. As I've gotten older, I sweat A LOT and I need to scrub my arms/legs hard or else I still smell after I shower, but I get crazy itchy when I scrub hard with a loofah. Afterwards, I usually end up scratching my legs with a hair-comb to try to soothe the itch. This brush scrubber provides a similar sensation, and has decreased (but not eliminated) the itchiness. Its rougher than a loofah, so I scrub every 2-3 days so that my skin doesn't get over-exfoliated and dry. I don't use the sponge much, I prefer my hands when I'm not scrubbing hard. Its not good for long hair, I have 16" straight hair and I could barely feel anything on my scalp so I only use it on my body.FOR DOGS:I have 3 chihuahuas, one has thin fur, one has coarse fur, and one has a thick double coat. This brush works great on all of them. They move between indoor & outdoor throughout the day, so they ususally start smelling again 3-4 days after a bath. Its been 3 weeks since I bathed them and they are barely starting to smell! This brush really helped exfoliate them and give them a deep scrub!

Too soft
I have been using my Super Scrub 2000 surgical scrub brush forever, and loved the angled nail brush feature and just right bristle firmness. But they are no longer available, and reviews on the imported clones of the SuperScrub are tepid, at best.So giving these a try, I have to say that yes, they are a brush, and the bristles will go under the nails with a bit of concentration and finesse. But no, they don't clean my nails or skin as well as the old school brush. Maybe my daughter can use them for something.

Overall it’s good
What I got wasn’t fully what I was expecting but that just because I’ve never owned one of these. One of these is constantly in my work bag at all times (I work with kids with autism). Personally I love the feeling of these, especially the bristle side, but also sometimes the sponge side. The only possible way these may not last long is if the sponge part was picked at as a nervous habit.

Hypersensitivity gift!
I have a child who is hypersensitive. Years ago her occupational therapist gave us a scrub brush to help. Worked wonders - but it did eventually wear out. These are a perfect replacement. Colors are fun, too.
