This is a great little stepstool and also good to sit on to reach low shelves. It’s very sturdy and looks very nice in the room.

They came assembled, and they are of great quality! We have one in each of our bathrooms and they come so handy. These are sturdy and perfectly finished. I would buy them again.

These are worth the money. They’re sturdy and well made and I will not need to replace them — ever. I bought a 2-pack that we use daily and am considering buying 2 more because we like them and use them so much.They’re also attractive and multi-functional. We use them as chairs — for our toddler and for grown-ups when sitting down with the kids. We use them as stools — they are study enough for grown-ups to stand on too. We use them as extra tables to keep plates and drinks off the floor when eating in the living room. And our baby recently discovered she can use one as a walker 😂 — with felt sliders on the feet, they slide easily on our hardwood floors.

I rarely leave reviews but this stool is one of the best buys I’ve made lately. It is attractive, heavy duty, and well made. I will placing an order for two more - maybe in a lighter color. I hope it is as beautiful.

I'm in agreement with other buyers of the solid hardwood conductor step stool that it is sturdy, well-built and well-designed. A sticker on the underside of the stool says that it was made in Thailand of rubberwood. What is rubberwood? I did a quick search on the web and found that rubberwood, also known as parawood in Thailand, is the most ecologically friendly lumber used in the furniture industry today. The "sap" of the tree is latex. Here is where I have to point out that I'm a little annoyed that my own stool has a dark brown sap knot mark on top. It distracts from the otherwise very nice finish. The males in my family think it is no big deal so I will not send it back. Still, I wish Chicago Stool and Chair, Inc., known as eWayMarket, had sent me a stool without a brown sap mark on top. The stool will hold a maximum weight of 220 pounds according to the sticker. Like other buyers, I put felt pads on the leg bottoms to protect my hardwood floors. Delivery time was super-fast. To sum up, you will have to decide if sap marks on furniture are acceptable.

I use these step stools to raise my living room tower speakers so they're more at ear level. This is a perfect solution over buying expensive dedicated floor stands. My picture may not convey how classy this looks when the black stool matches my black speakers. Measure your speaker's footprint and you might discover that this modification works for you as well. This is a well made solid wood product and one that was used in a different manner to enhance my sound system performance.
