It saved my husband's life!
Two weeks ago, my husband and I went for a bike ride and stopped at a kayak and canoe storage area with picnic tables overlooking a lake. As we prepared to get back on our bikes, my husband walked down a cement kayak ramp to test the water. Unfortunately, his sneakers slipped on algae, and as he grabbed for the loose handrail, he fell hard onto his side—striking his head with tremendous force against the cement. I watched it happen and was terrified. Honestly, if he hadn’t been wearing his Livall bike helmet, I believe the outcome could have been fatal - or he might have drowned. I am recovering from knee replacement surgery and would not have been able to help him quickly, and emergency services would have taken too long to arrive. Thankfully, his helmet did its job perfectly. He was sore and bruised, but had no concussion or head injury, and his x-rays confirm there was no lasting damage. He still has a bruise on his neck, but we are so grateful for the protection your helmet provided. Quite simply: your product saved his life. Thank you for designing a product that protected my husband when he needed it most. We are truly grateful. FYI - we bought this one as a replacement (same model). I highly recommendit!

All around great helmet that saved my noggin
The overall design and venting is great. Easy connectivity and sturdy construction. You can't expect much from the speakers when riding in windy conditions, but on a calm ride it can be great background music. I was surprised at how well I could hear when taking calls, even in the wind; very clear and uninterrupted. The adjustable head strap is perfect, so you can dial in to fit your head, and is very comfortable. The lights on the back are nice to have, would be great to have a light in front; the remote and turn signals work as intended. Overall a great helmet with nice features for the money.** Unfortunately, I can attest to the strength of the helmet. Short story is I went down at 20+mph, and landed directly on my head. While I did concuss, expected due to the force of the hit, and the helmet is damaged, the helmet saved my head as the potential was ugly. Can't say too much for my knee, hip, arm, and shoulder lol, but thank goodness I bought this helmet and was wearing it on my ride. I highly recommend this helmet.

Pretty good bike safety: Lumos Kickstarter clone
After dozens of rides so far, this bike safety helmet compares favorably with the Lumos Kickstarter helmet. It is a bit rougher around the edges, though especially lacking weatherproof electronics.Pros:+ nicely integrated handlebar controller with helmet electronics, paired every time!+ better quality rechargeable handlebar controller an available option+ handlebar controller usable with winter riding gloves+ Livall app is nicely done including ride tracking features+ LED turn signal and riding alerts are very noticeable to drivers!+ Bluetooth audio is well done (did not test group comms)+ decent air ventilation while riding with comfortable straps and chin strap padding+ barely noticeable extra weightCons:- electronics is not as weatherproof as Lumos, need a transparent bike helmet cover for rain- battery is not replaceable- state of charge of battery is not accessible, should be in app- helmet electronics finicky in pairing with app on Android smartphones- security concerns over ride tracking in app, how can the data be better restricted?- one of a kind magnetic USB connector for charging and single red LED shows charging statusBottom line: We like the Livall BH62 as our main ebike riding helmet. Though we tried the Lumos Kickstarter, we found it less comfortable and overpriced, though the Lumos is more weatherproof.

Great feel and easy to use!
GREAT helmet! Nice fit and easy to pair with my iPhone. The remote controls music functions with no prob - I'm using Spotify. Speakers work/sound REALLY nice for being tiny and integrated into a helmet. Going to buy a similar one for my son and try out that walkie talkie function.

Battery life, Brighter lights, Louder speakers
NOT WORTH $145. It looks cool but the quality of speakers , they are not loud enough. And yeah, it does not hold the charge. I had it charging all night . Went for a ride the battery died within an hour.... the price of the helmet has gone up. But the quality it has gone down. It is NOT worth $145.

good, but not great
helmet is good, but the remote and rear lights are really cheap and can't be seen. the remote disconnects 100% of the time. So the blinker function is worthless. You will be finished with the turn before the remote connects.

This bike helmet is a good value
I just needed a regular helmet to ride my mountain bike but I came across this one that came recommended by a blogger. I was kind of hesitant about the "smart" features and gadgetry because they seemed over the top for what I needed but the price was equal to a helmet with no features so I decided to move forward.Firstly it is important to notice that the lite version comes without a remote which means that if you choose not to use your phone you are out of luck or you will have to buy the remote control separately. Given the fact that I have an iPhone 11 pro I am not ready to attach it to my bike and have it shatter in the trail. The lights on the helmet hold charge for about three hours. I generally ride during the day and in the trail so it makes sense to keep them on to assist other riders in doing an early spotting and reduce the chance of collisionsThe helmet fits quite nicely and the padding compares to that of my Smith helmet. I read other reviewers talking about issues with the battery. I will update my review in three months if I face the same difficulties. According to the blogger that recommended this the issue with the batteries was already resolved by the time she purchased her helmet.
