Definitely an excellent herb. I highly recommend you take it at night before bed! One of the side effects is "extreme drowsiness" Other than that I have no complaints and will continue to use it.

Although I'm partly writing this because of the offer of a free bottle I wouldn't bother if the product had not helped with insomnia. I think some reviews are from people whose body type is not suited to gotu kola, there is probably a better similar alternative if you don't tolerate it, from an ayurvedic perspective at least, one size doesn't fill all!...kinda. yes I have tried every tea imaginable, melatonin, lemon balm, alchohol!...anything is stimulating to me if I take it after 6pm, melatonin causes dreaming, which is OK but should occur naturally, not because you have taken a substance. In short, gotu kola seems to have no stimulating effects and gets me usually more than 4 or 5 hours per night, which is good for me. The company seems excellent except I don't know where the plant is sourced but as it is tested for heavy metals it shouldn't matter, I guess. I also take ashwaganda which by itself did not help my poor sleep patterns.

I stumbled upon this supplement in an article. I bought it for its benefit on the skin and collagen synthesis. I've lost a lot of weight recently and hoped it would help with skin elasticity. I've been using it for 2 days now, one pill in the morning. I cannot emphasize enough how it has impact my mental clarity! I am mentally more sharp than usual and my memory is excellent! I can recall memories from years ago easily and even was able to completely remember a serial number from one short glance! This isn't like me at all.. I've also seen an improvement in my skin and just two days. The pores in my face have seen to have greatly reduced in size and the redness in my face is gone. To note, I've been ingesting 44 grams of hydrolyzed collagen powder daily along with taking this product. I highly suggest doing so as it seems to expedite the results.

I have tried many different Gotu Kola extracts. This is one of the strongest that I have taken. It is great for anxiety and then I double or triple the dose for sleep. It makes me relaxed without feeling out of it. It makes me feel calm but more alert and aware. It puts me to sleep and I wake up refreshed with no grogginess.It is great for school where I need be attentive but need to knock out some anxiety. Increases focus for studying as well Great Quality!!! =)

This wakes me up, gets rid of my DAILY headaches, helps me think more clearly AND I feel good which seems like a miracle to me. I've am taking a few meds for Bipolar and Borderline Personality Disorder and ADHD which level out my mood swings, but they also wipe me out and I feel melancholy and a little depressed. Ever since I started taking two Gotu Kola capsules with my morning meds I feel GOOD, optimistic, and I actually want to get things done. This has been a miracle for me because after several years of being on psych meds I had given up ever feeling good again.
